Big Heart- large seaview house- FREE WiFi

Just 10 minutes from Phillip Island, the charming village of Kilcunda has a beautiful coastline with clifftop walking and cycling tracks. Boasting diverse beaches, from calm bays, to open sea and surf. Have a BBQ with friends or family at our spacious modern house with a large balcony with seaview, as well as rolling hills and greenery. This large house is perfect for two families, with private entertainment zones upstairs and down-stairs (including a games-room and second dining room). The beach and walking and cycling trails are just a stroll away (300 meters). Or just enjoy the upstairs for a romantic weekend looking at the stars from the balcony and hearing the surf break. Pick up the newspaper at the well known Killy gourmet coffee and grocery store, and check out the pub, both also a short stroll away from our big-hearted house.

Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player, Wii, washing machine and dryer. Well stocked with DVDs and books. Free WiFi. Please note we currently do not offer bed linen/towels so you need to bring your own.

Awesome stay!

This was our 2nd stay in this house and we enjoyed our holidays thoroughly. Excellent house for a big family or even two families! Amazing views! We are looking forward to be back!

Such an amazing stay & host!

Maggie was first of all amazing, she is one of the best hosts I have come across. She was a fast replier and gave us every detail we needed. The house is nice and big for a big group of people and had everything we needed, what a great stay and great location. So close to the shops and beach, we would definitely stay again! Great value for money!

Great getaway

MotoGP much better than camping

6 mature age motorcyclists down from Queensland. We loved the size of the house and of course the laundry with 2 clothes driers. The big kitchen dining and lounge room was put to good use. The kitchen was very well equipped especially for our group size.

Great Place to stay

We stayed in December for our annual Family trip. Maggie was wonderful and a great help. Plenty of room for a giant teenager and three adults. I loved the upstairs and downstairs it was a great all that we needed. One of my fav parts was sitting on the balcony at night watching the sunsets. Thanks for a great trip made easy. And playing board games at night.

Retreat by the sea

We were pleasantly surprised by this holiday house. It was ideal, with more than sufficient space to accommodate two families for a weekend getaway. The location is fabulous. Within walking distance are scenic walking tracks, a cafe, the pub and a cute wine bar. At the house, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony whilst watching the sun go down. Communication and check in was a smooth process. Hopefully will return soon to enjoy the comfort of this house and the serenity of Kilcunda

Weekend away

This is not the first time we have stayed at the "Big House". We always find it as described with plenty of space and ammenities for our group. The communication with the owner is always prompt and very helpful to accomodate us. Location is terrific with a morning walk along the beach always a great start to the day, or an afternoon swim. We would definetly stay again.

Lovely big house for families, great location

We had a brilliant week staying at Kilcunda. Maggie is a very thoughtful, flexible and generous host. The house is perfect for two families, lots of rooms and space. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the big balcony, enjoying the fresh air and the views. The house is in a great location - across the road from the rail trail and George Bass coastal walk, and a 5 min stroll to the General Store and pub. Highly recommend and I hope we will be back.

Very enjoyable house for our whole family

My family and I (7 of us) were very pleased with all aspects of the property including up-to-date appliances that all worked well, balcony BBQ was great, WIFI and Netflix worked well, as well as minor things we were surprised to have available including board games and body boards. The owners had obviously put effort into making our seven day stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks.

Lovely relaxing stay

Overall we were really happy, the property is nice and private with a view of the ocean from the living room, everything that you might need for the kitchen, bedrooms etc was supplied. Maggie was very communicative and helpful. The upstairs shower could do with a good scrub!

Excellent house for our cycling group

This large house was perfect for our group of cyclists with the many bedrooms and had great views from the lovely open plan area upstairs. Great balconies to enjoy. The only down side and an easy fix was that there was no TV reception on the large TV in the main living area. Besides this we loved our stay here and it was perfect for accessing the rail trail, the George Bass coastal walk and Phillip Island.
