Our 2 families had a lovely stay at this ideal location! Lovely walks, nature on our doorstep and interesting places to visit just a short drive away! The house was a great size and configuration and a great assortment of kitchen items!
Thanks for a great stay!!

Lovely, quirky place. Plenty of room for our family. Great spot across from the water for kayaks and lovely morning walk for coffee. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The highlight for me was the style of the house, the layout and overall feel of the home was very good. The area was pleasant, chatted with one of the neighbours and they were very welcoming, I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Another wonderful experience this time in the crab 🦀 season. We arrived to a wedding across the road and then scooped up crabs for dinner. The teens liked the location for activities our family enjoy. Highly recommended for a quiet and comfortable stay.

We absolutely loved our stay. Perfect location and great space for two families who have regular short trips away. Teens fished and kayaked right across the road, adults enjoyed drinks on the deck. Our dogs were secure and great walking path directly from house. Table perfect for cards and games. Only downside was outdoor bathroomnot cleaned but with the wet weather we were happy to use indoor bathroom only.perfect for card

Thanks for taking the time to review and pleased you enjoyed your stay - the outdoor bathroom always looks a bit unloved unfortunately as the winter weather blows the leaves in.

Beautiful location, dolphins & pelicans on your doorstep. Enjoyed our stay in the milkbar style house. Bright & sunny, clean, has most of what you need to make your stay relaxed. Maybe a better way to supply personnel information to the local management agent could be looked at?

We absolutely loved staying here while our boat was out of the water for maintenance - the estuary just over the road was a perfect way to both start and end our day, the house has literarily everything you could imagine needing and felt like a real home away from home where you were not tiptoeing around in case you messed up the 'new and perfect' presentation that so many places have - I can imagine filing the place with the laughter of a bunch of holidaying kids having lots of fun, which is exactly what we will be doing next time we book. Thanks for such a great experience living 'on land' for the first time in 6 years...

Beautiful location, quirky house.
The location is nothing short of fantastic with the estuary and a small park area over the road and a Saturday market 10 minutes stroll away....
The house is......quirky.....with many, many dips and hills in the timber floors, care has to be exercised when moving around and although mostly clean the house has an "old" odour. You will have no problem finding kitchen utensils though, it is better supplied than most home kitchens.
Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Great house but one bed was broken and daughter slept on mattress on floor - no follow up after our stay, disappointing as the other way round our deposit would have been taken.

What a unique property being an old 1950's delicatessen building modernised but retaining the deco features of the era (red kitchen benchtop). Clean and comfortable accommodation with two toilets. Large living area with beautiful views from large windows looking to the estuary waters. Outdoor area at the front, perfect in the right weather to watch the world go by. A short walk to waters edge and parks and coffee shop down the road. Well appointed with everything you need. We picked up a bag firewood on our way through Falcon thanks to feedback from other stayers and we hired the bed linen. We found the property to be quiet. A bonus to be able to bring our dog with us with the pet fee. Had a great time here, hope to visit again.

Good get away from the city. Felt like we were further south. Great spot for a family and their pup. House has been cleverly renovated and love the history of the place. Wouldve loved to see some pics up of what it looked like originally.
Just make sure when you book to take note that linen is not included and its an extra charge for it to be provided and also for beds to be made. When I booked I made the error of not reading my booking properly but I hadn’t come across this before when booking with other Stayz accomodations so it surprised me. Anyway apart from this, we were generally happy with the house, and its location.

Quirky but nice
As an old shop, the layout is interesting. If you enjoy a spot of crabbing the water's edge is just over the road. The property and fittings are old but clean. Just about everything you'd need is provided (except linen and towels which are extra). Air conditioning is in the main large living area. Fans provided in bedrooms.
As a previous reviewer has mentioned, dealing with the agent is "unusual". They are polite, but asking for extra personal information details (such as a credit card picture) that others don't need is a put off and would probably stop me staying there again.

Great place for the family
Great location and second time staying here. The house is old as it's part of the area's history but well maintained. Everything we needed was in the house - we opted to take out own linen and save $10/bed, however the beds and doonas are very comfy and cozy. The kitchen is really well appointed for all types of cooking, most of the equipment is very well used but very functional. Someone has set this up as the user of the place, not just as a holiday rental. Spacious and secure back yard for the dog and a lovely deck out front for the end of day bevvies! Not a fan of the check in process and all communication being by remote admin - there is a number to call if you need anything urgent however we prefer the more personal approach. This doesn't take anything away from the stay as it's a wonderfully relaxing place with really pleasant locals to say g'day and have a chat. We'll definitely be back for a third time and more. Highly recommend this jewel of a place.

Lovely property-weird check-in process (and bring tour own wood/matches etc)
This property was just lovely-quirky renovated old place with lovely big open living area looking out through huge glass windows (we think the property was once a shop) over the estuary. My dog LOVED resting his chin on the windowsill to gaze at the water longingly 😆 And very well equipped kitchen. A comfortable, relaxed place indeed.
But the weirdest check-in process I’ve experienced. It’s clearly managed by another property management company, who emailed asking for more ID details, including the need to submit a photo of my credit card and photo ID through a separate site. 😬
I phoned as I was a bit concerned about doing this-that’s some useful info to put out there. The woman who answered was less than professional (didn’t even identify the company name when answering) and then suggested that if I wasn’t happy I could just text the photos to the mobile number I’d called!!!???!!! 😳😳 Whaaaat?!🙅🏼♀️ She seemed quite unimpressed by my concern. Guess she’s unaware of the scale of online & identity fraud across the planet!
Can't say I was happy with the dual platform process, extra ‘security’ measures required or the lack of professionalism at all.
Also nothing was supplied to light the fire/wood burner stove-no matches, no newspaper, no kindling and only 3 small pieces of wood supplied. If you’re going to advertise a fireplace, add details that renters should bring their own wood & supplies! Especially for those arriving late to a cold house.
Thanks for taking the time to review and pleased you enjoyed your stay Vicky.

Hey Jenny,
We really enjoyed staying at your place. It was great to walk along the estuary upto the cafe and back. we are easy going but here is a a few things other guests may request. The fan in the front bedroom didnt seem to work? and i would suggest a few more pedestal fans in the bedrooms in the summer months? other than that we will probably stay again.
Thanks
