Located almost in the shadows of Point Lonsdale's famous lighthouse, this recently refreshed family holiday house provides the ideal location for a family escape. Once there, park your car and put the keys away for the week - you can walk to all of Point Lonsdale's attractions in minutes. Just 200 metres to the front beach and shops, 200 metres to the pier and lighthouse, and only a 200m walk to the Surf Club and Ocean Beach. There are kids playgrounds available at the main street and also the Tennis club nearby.

A generous yard at the rear is perfect for kids to play in when the day at the beach is done, or for your dog to stretch its legs. Choose to relax around the huge fire pit (firewood supplied) or chill out on the enormous sun-drenched deck!

This is a property which best suits one or two family groups with young children, and is also pet friendly.

On the inside the house features two Queen bedrooms, and a bunk room which sleeps 6 in three bunks - two of which are King Singles.

IMPORTANT - BYO LINEN
Please note that all rentals are made without linen supply - towels, sheets, pillowslips and doona-covers are to be brought by renters. The beds all have mattress protectors, doonas and pillows provided.

A dining table inside seats up to 10, and the living area has a large flat screen TV, with access to all streaming services.

Huge outdoor dining also seats 10 on the deck.

An authentic beach house

Really enjoyed the stay. Great location, comfortable house with a few quirks, but a genuine beauty. Loved the deck area, closeness of amenities and a view of the historic lighthouse.

Always leave feeling relaxed

We just had our 5th stay at this place and we always have a great time. The location is peaceful and comfortable. It’s also the perfect venue to stay with canine family members too. We’ll be back again soon!

Great holiday rental

House was everything we needed, great location, easy to use everything and understand instructions. Loved hearing the crashing waves as I went to sleep. Only trouble was getting car into property (as no drive way over curb) 5 out of 5 for this beach house.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Great no frills beach house in an unparalleled location. 5 minute walk to both the front beach/town or the back beach/lighthouse. Huge deck and fire pit area for relaxing after a day at the beach. The house itself is a bit battered from years of weather but inside is spotless, with an updated bathroom, WiFi and modern living. This is the second time we’ve stayed over the years and will definitely be back. Also dog friendly with a big enclosed backyard!

The location and facility for our dog was great, the building is seriously in need of maintenance, flywire screens and windows that open effectively. The house needs a good spring clean due to insects, flys and rodents entering the building.

Great beach home.

A really comfortable beach house that has everything you need. It is low maintenance, functional and easy to care for. Three good sized bedrooms, lounge and updated bathroom were all very good. The outside area is so pretty especially at night with the outdoor lights. A few minutes walk to the beach and shops which is ideal. I would highly recommend this house and so would our dog. Thanks Stuart for letting your property to us and letting us stay for a late check out. Much appreciated.

Comes up a bit short

This property wasn't up to the general standard I've come to expect from Stayz properties. The house is tired and in need of some repairs but that doesn't excuse the dirty windows and excessive amount of stuff cluttering wardrobes, kitchen & laundry. Probably OK for a warm weather stay but not so good with the colder weather we experienced.

Great location, close to Point Lonsdale lighthouse and shops. Kitchen well stocked. Comfortable beds. Great firepit area. Nice garden area for pets. The property requires maintenance. Front gate and front timber fence broken. Sliding screen door has no wheels, and hard to slide. BBQ rusted, and filthy inside. Taps in laundry don't work. Windows hard to open. Window frames damaged, likely termite damage. No driveway access from the street. Ramps inside, but we only found that out after struggling to get our trailer and car in. Informed owner about rusted, siezed gate hinge, and the response was to use force. Gate hinge sheared straight through, making it hard to open and close gate.

We had another great stay at this perfect beach house! The location is excellent and is the best base to enjoy everything that point Lonsdale has to offer. This time we spent a lot of time at the Rockpools which were spectacular. We will definitely be back.

Lovely rustic cottage that needs a little love

Great location really good for a long weekend or more. Basic in some ways with some things not working and some elements of the cottage ageing so the pictures don’t reflect the state the furniture. Front gate could collapse at any time. Outside just needs a refresh/clean also.
