About this property
Beach Break - unwind on the Surf Coast
If you are looking for a beach or bush holiday on the beautiful Surf Coast without breaking the bank, then Beach Break at Moggs Creek is the place for you.
Set up to sleep 4 adults and 4 kids (or 8 adults as long as 4 of you don't mind bunk beds), Beach Break is a classic 1970's beach house, sympathetically updated with all traces of 'mission brown' removed.
The house borders the Angahook-Lorne State Park and there are plenty of walking and cycling tracks on the doorstep, great beaches (Moggs Creek Beach is a 5 minute walk from the front door) and good local eateries, or you might just prefer to curl up with a book on the deck, in the hammock or by the wood heater.
Beach Break has two double bedrooms (one with king size bed) and a kids room with two sets of bunk beds, with a bathroom upstairs and shower, loo and laundry downstairs. The detached garage has also been converted into a rumpus room.
The large front deck gets the morning sun, while in winter the wood heater keeps things nice and toasty inside.
There is a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room for friends around the extendable dining table. For al fresco dining there is the deck with gas bbq, or the outside bbq (wood fired) area with seating and brazier.
Beach Break is a much loved, cosy family beach house and, if you are anything like us, you won't be able to help yourself but relax once you've settled in. It has been described as everything you need, nothing you don't.
And the pricing is really simple.
Rates, exclusive of the HomeAway admin charges, are:
Standard rate $210 per night, inclusive of bed linen, towels - not beach towels - firewood and BBQ gas with a 2 night minimum stay.
School holidays and long weekends (Easter, Melbourne Cup weekend etc) are priced at $230 per night with a 2 night minimum stay.
Christmas and January school holidays is priced at $275 a night with a 5 night minimum stay.
