Comfortable stay

Lovely view, comfortable beds, very well-equipped in the kitchen, thoughtful touches like throw blankets, board games and a jigsaw provided. This unit had everything we needed and was in a good location for our sporting short stay. Would stay here again, thank you!

Great place to stay

Well appointed and very clean apartment, lovely view over the Broadwater. A good location for Gold Coast activities and easy access to all centres, including Brisbane. We would definitely recommend it, and Sandra was good at communicating with us.

Arcadia was perfect accomodation in an amazing spot Sandra may was amazing replying a responding too tenants and would definatley reccomend this accomodation. , only negative is more people parking at units than suppose too so then makes difficult for parking especially when boats an van is permsntky parked there taking up spots and never move,on this note there is bus right out front of apartment which is handy if you don’t have car

A roomy and comfortable apartment. Extremely well equipped and provisioned and spotlessly clean. The complex is dated but, well maintained and the apartment has new bathroom and kitchen. We enjoyed our 10 days there and would stay again

We stayed here for 11 weeks and found everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. Comfortable, very clean and neat and what magnificent views from the balcony! Very efficient lift and great security system made it easy to relax. Very caring hosts also. We intend to book for our next break in Qld.

We booked Arcadia as it was reasonably priced and had enough beds for our family of 5. It is in a perfect location, being within 5 minutes of Harbour Town and Runaway Bay shopping centre, and within a 10-15 minute drive to the theme parks. The instructions on how to enter the property were very easy to understand. We arrived a bit earlier than expected and met the owner who was there cleaning the unit. The owner was very welcoming and escorted us up to the unit. There were plenty of supplies there which he told us we were welcome to use, including, toilet paper, washing powder, pantry items etc, which was lovely. The kids loved the pool, and the majority of the time they were the only ones in it. On the 3rd night into our 10 night stay, the light in the bathroom blew. After contacting the owners and letting them know, they had the light replaced that day. The ceiling fans in the living area and main bedroom, combined with the breeze, make for a lovely cool unit. The only negatives we have is that the carpet is very outdated, but after reading another review I noticed that the carpet is getting replaced soon. The furniture and decor is also a bit outdated and the lounge covers were slightly annoying and kept falling off especially when children were sitting on them. Some new matching linen for the beds would brighten the bedrooms up and make them more visually appealing. Al in all, this is a great unit for families that are not wanting to pay ridiculous amounts of money for accommodation. We knew we would be out most days so were happy to spend less on accommodation and have more spending money. I would not hesitate staying at Arcadia again, next time we visit the Gold Coast. One more thing I'd like to mention, the owner said that they were thinking removing the 2 sets of bunks to allow a ceiling fan to be installed in the second bedroom. Can I suggest if you put 2 single beds in there, that you add a couple of trundle beds or fold up beds? Arcadia really is a great unit for families, it would be great if it still accommodated 6 people. Thanks again, and we hope to see you again soon.

Cleaners need to do a bit better job carpet wasn't vacuumed, one cupboard smelt nasty. But overall nice cosy apartment, enjoyed our stay, would book again. Recommend if looking for somewhere quiet & relaxing
