Our family beach house is suitable for family groups and small mature groups. Children are very welcome and love their visit here and your family pet dog will also be considered 🐶
Many extras include free wifi, Foxtel , multiples TVs, outdoor private spa, games room with pool table.
Accommodates 8 in 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bunk room with tri-bunk and separate single bed. 2 family bathrooms.
All bed linen and bath towels provided.
Large upstairs covered deck with patio blinds provide plus smaller decks and large garden deck.
Off street driveway parking and locked shed for storage of bikes and wet items.
In quiet location with tree views and short walk to village shops, river walks, playgrounds and main beach.
Child baby gate at stair top, portacot and highchair.

We loved our stay - Glenys has added those extra homely touches (plenty of towels, tea, coffee, games for the kids), which made for a very relaxing weekend away. Loved that coffee and shops were a short stroll down the hill too.

Great short stay

Barrakee was a great home to stay, nearly everything had been thought of for guests to use even the little things like shower caps. Hubby and our 2 furbabies had a very relaxing time, the spa was fantastic, the outdoor area upstairs whuch was fully enclosed with outdoor blinds was very peaceful to sit and have a cuppa. Id recommend this home for couple's or families to stay.

Perfect winter getaway!

We spent three nights here in the winter school holidays and absolutely loved it! Spa, pool table and great selection of games and puzzles were a hit with the kids. Enclosed outdoor area was beautiful, great views and surprisingly warm for middle of July! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals every night. Our host Glenys was extremely generous, thoughtful and welcoming! We hope to stay here again in the warmer months as well

Amazing Stay at the Barakee Beach House

My friends and I checked into this house and it was a spectacular stay from the beginning to the end. We did not want to leave from the moment we got there. Honestly the only thing we can complain about is not booking it for longer. Close to the shops and a short drive to the beach as well, making it easy for us to travel around. We will definitely be keen on staying here again.

The property is well cared for and set up to cater for a range of ages. Great facilities and thoughtful resources mean you really don't need to take anything with you, it is all provided. The hosts are very accessible and concerned that you get the best experience.

wanted for nothing

A lovely house and so well equipped that there was nothing we needed. When the weather was bad there were plenty of games in the house and when the weather was good there was the spa. Close to the shops and restaurants so we could just leave the car at home and walk down. A wonderful host who made sure to check if there was anything else we needed.

Amazing property close to the beach

Myself and 5 other mates stayed at The Barrakee on the weekend for 3 days and it was an amazing house and experience. The rooms, kitchen,living room and outdoor balcony area were very clean , spacious and the house had plenty of amenities. Everything went very smoothly and the house owners are a pleasure to speak with. The wifi was exceptional, I constantly had full reception everywhere on the property and the internet was quite fast! which made watching netflix very easy and smooth. My friends all said their beds were very comfortable with plenty of linen and blankets available. The barbeque worked very well and was well stocked with gas. 10/10 if we are back in the anglesea area we will definitely stay here again.

Everything you need to relax

We stayed at Barrakee over the Easter long weekend and we loved every minute of it! Everything had been thought of that we could need and want to relax and enjoy our stay was there. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds, linen and towels. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes for cooking and eating together. The living spaces, both inside and outside, were perfect for relaxing and spending time together. We ate inside and out on the balcony, loved playing pool, and thought the spa was an extra piece of luxury! We came with two little ones and the owners had thoughtfully provided a portacot, high chair and toys. The full laundry facilities were so useful too. Barrakee was the perfect place for our family to catch up and reconnect over the long weekend, and we cannot thank Glenys enough for our wonderful stay in Angelsea. Thank you!

A great place to stay!!

We loved our stay at this property. The spa and billiard table helped us to enjoy lots of fun times together as a family. The property is close to shops and a short walk through the residential area took us to the beautiful walking tracks along the river. Our host was very accommodating and responsive. Perfect little get away

Perfect little getaway for the weekend with family and friends. Glenys made everything easy from our enquiry to see if our dog could stay through to turning the spa on before we arrived. The property was clean & tidy, functional with a lot of living areas, pool table and felt very homely. It’s only a very short walk to Anglesea shops and a little more to the beach. Would stay again but for longer next time.

Well equipped great house in Anglesea

We loved our stay at this property. We had a group of 8 adults and an 18 month old and our dog. House was beautifully clean and very well equipped for cooking, entertaining, kids and more! Glenys was very easy to deal with and I greatly appreciated her quick communication and assistance pre check in. Highly recommend for family groups. Will stay here again!
