About Dale Stacey
Hi there, Sue and I have both lived and holidayed in many beautiful areas throughout Victoria. Queenscliff is one of our favourites so we bought then renovated Bethune House, late in 2016. We love camping, fishing, the beach and love to explore new places. We hope you enjoy exploring Queenscliff and the Bellarine Peninsula. Dale and Sue
Why Dale Stacey chose Queenscliff
We bought Bethune House because we loved the house, the area and Queenscliff's village atmosphere . Queenscliff is within easy travelling distance from Melbourne and Geelong and has so much to offer both holiday makers and residents of this small community.
What makes this Townhouse unique
When we first saw Bethune House we recognised its potential . We new it could be a comfortable, spacious, well positioned holiday house for us , our families and others. All it took was a bit of blood, sweat and tears not to mention a broken arm and a lot of hard work and Bethune House- Seaside Escape came to be.

Clean , comfortable, recommend
Would definitely book again
Dale and I are very pleased you found the house comfortable and clean. We would love to have you stay again and hope the Hot Rod show was enjoyable.
Great family accommodation close to the beach
This house accommodated our family of 8 very comfortably. Upstairs the bedrooms and bathrooms were great for this number of people . The downstairs living areas are well layed out and separate zones meant everyone wasn't on top of each other. Two outdoor area were good too with a yard for the kids to play and a separate alfresco with bbq and table. Access to the beach was a very short walk and the town centre just a few minutes drive. Amenities were clean and communication with the owner was excellent. Only negative is the main road location can be a little noisy but overall a very good place for a family stay. Recommend.
We are so pleased that you found Bethune House accomodated your family so comfortably. We would love to have you return one day.
Sue & Dale.
A perfect place for a family getaway. Very well set up for families with small children, or adult children likes us. Great location and and very well laid out apartment. Will definitely be back.
We are so pleased the house and position suited your families needs for a great vacation and a bit of relaxation after a hectic , worrying start to the year. We would love to have you back.

Works well for families
Great setup for families with 3 bedrooms upstairs so adults can stay up without waking kids etc. 4 mins walk to the nearest beach. A bit of noise from the road.
Great Beachside Accommodation
Bethune House was very clean, spacious and well equipped (especially for children). A family group of 6 adults and 2 children were easily and comfortably accommodated. It's close to a lovely beach and the centre of town. Dale was very responsive to messages and made us feel welcome. We would highly recommend this accommodation.
Fabulous location & well equipped house
Location was awesome - walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes, walk into town in about 15 minutes, less than 5 minutes to bike path.
The house is lovely, clean and it is very well equipped - huge selection of DVDs (kids & adults), beach gear (in garage), games, ALDI espresso machine, pantry basics.
Two drawbacks - the main one is that the only A/C upstairs is in the main bedroom which is a problem if it's hot, particularly if you have 4 people in the room with a double bed & bunks. The second, more minor, drawback is that the kitchen appliances (cooktop, oven, DW) were not updated with the rest of the decor and they are very old.
