Comfortable
No WiFi and no Aircon in two of 3 bedrooms. Fridge not real cold.
It was an amazing stay, all family all ages and a lovely time, everything was catered for. A vacuum cleaner would have been good only cause I'm a clean freak. Thanks heaps will book again for sue.

Hey Louise, thank you for your feedback. We will look into a vacuum cleaner because we love our clean freak guests :)
We had a lovely time for your first visit to Magnetic Island.
The house was great and lovely to have our dogs come along.
Wish there was instructions on how to operate the tv for local channel options.
Thanks
Kris
Our experience renting this property was an excellent one! The house was perfect for my extended family and the pool provided heaps of fun and something to do while we were relaxing in the afternoon! Close to some great walks and the markets was a positive for us! It is also close to some great eateries which for my family is always a positive! Would definitely stay here again!

Kelsey, we are so glad you had a wonderful stay :) we would happily have you come again please dont hesitate to book with us in the future!
No internet no online gaming. It was blissfully great. Spend all weekend exploring the Island and what it had to offer. And the rest of the time playing board games and cards with my son. All and all great weekend and we will go again.
Lovely place. Will book again but if a few changes can be made, full aircon in all bedrooms, comfy (not hard) beds, toilet paper, soap, and a FULL gas bottle as it ran out after one meal.

Thank you Sinead, We have now supplied 2 gas bottles at the home so this does not happen again. So sorry!
We needed somewhere where the dogs would be safely contained whilst we were out. This place was fully fenced and escapeproof.
The pool is fantastic for little children
The shower cubicle was not really good for the average 6 foot person- was very claustrophobic. And a hand rail on the front steps would be great. Other than that the house was good- very well appointed in the kitchen. Will go through Cindy again.

Family breakaway in Horseshoe Bay
This was our first trip to Magnetic Island, and we had a wonderful trip. We opted for kookaburra lodge over a resort for the flexibility and private pool. The pool was an absolute hit with us all, and the aircon in the lounge room very welcome in January.
Although in walking distance to horseshoe bay and bus routes, I would recommend a car in the summer months... the heat can be very uncomfortable.
A great stay, thank you.
Positives - pet friendly, pool area, enclosed yard, efficient agent re booking and putting lights on for arrival
Negatives - over priced for level of of amenity, neighbours arguing, no driveway had to drive up and down kerb to access property, gate very narrow for vehicle, pictures on website showed green lawn but it was just sand, uncomfortable sofas and beds.
Left a day early as not a comfortable place to relax in

Average place but top price
We paid top dollar for a place that should be low to medium price.
No air conditioners in bedroom and main air conditioner inadequate, house always hot.
Toilet smelt like urine.
House dirty with fans, fridge top and other very dusty.
Not presented at a standard to match the price.
