About this property

Pioneer Cabin By Spearfish Creek

Welcome to Pioneer. It is considered a 4 person cabin and has a queen bed in the main cabin area and two twin beds in the sleeping porch. It has a kitchenette that includes an oven and large fridge, pots, pans, dishes, Broadband WIFI, bathroom, gas fireplace for heat, all linens and utensils. All of our cabins have a charcoal grill provided. Leave home with food and clothing, Wickiup has the rest.

We allow most dogs. They must be leashed while outside the cabins. If they are left alone and anxious they must be kenneled if there is any chance they will destroy any part of our property. If they disturb other guests with barking or crying while left in the cabins you will be called to come back and care for them or take them along on your daily travels. Aggressive pets will not be tolerated on our property.
The rates for pets are 15/day up to 25lbs. 25-50 lbs are 25/day and over 50lbs are 35/day.
Remember that all people are not dog lovers as many of us are and we need to be courteous of their choices.

Thank you, Steve! You are very kind and the type of individual we enjoy hosting in the rustic mountain paradise we call Wickiup Cabins. Les

The owners of the cabins are wonderful, friendly, helpful people who would go to all ends to accommodate us. The staff were excellent, friendly and we all seemed like friends as much as anything else. It was fun visiting and chatting with them all. As they went about their day (they were always busy) they never failed to stop and visit with us. By far the best experience we've ever had staying anywhere!

Dirty

Could be a nice property if it was cleaned and maintained.

I'm not sure what part of 5.5 acres and 20 cabins with happy people occupying them Brian is speaking to? Brian stayed 5 days with a combination of 11 employees working for 5 star ratings. All guests are greeted if seen and offered help for any possible needs if seen. The problem with that would be, Brian was seldom seen and offered no response when greeted or seen. Somehow our filter allowed him into our mountain resort destination, a living breathing museum of times and places 100 years back but with all the amenities modernization can bring. We are sorry you did not have a good time, Brian, we could have helped you and that is our goal. Les

Great place! So close to the beach. They have bikes, a wagon , and other beach things you can use.Washer and dryer worked great!Only cons are having to cross the road after early morning hours cause it gets busy and there is no cross walk. There are 2 bathrooms but are located only up stairs. Other than that the house was great. Also has privacy fence all around it.
