We were visiting the area as our daughter was showing at the Tryon Equestrian Center. The location was perfect. We enjoyed our quiet cabin.

Relaxing
overall, this a fantastic place to get away and still have all the amenities. If we are ever in this part of NC again, we would definitely have to stay.
Very cute cabin, very clean, quality build. What you’d expect staying in a cabin, but did not feel overly crowded. Washer/dryer and full kitchen a big plus!
Hi Frances, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the bedroom temperature impacted your comfort during the stay. The owner would like to share the following:- Your visit coincided with especially high outdoor temperatures, which may have contributed to the room feeling warm.- A maintenance request was placed during your stay to service the mini split system to ensure it was functioning properly.- We were happy to offer early check-in and accommodate your two dogs with a reduced pet fee.We always aim to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience, and we appreciate your comments as we continue to improve.
We’re seniors who enjoy following our granddaughter's participation in equestrian eventing. Property was perfect for our purpose less than 10 minutes from the show property. Comfortable, clean, quiet with better kitchen than expected.

Hi N, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We strive to make sure that our guests have an exceptional experience with us and uphold high standards of hospitality.
- During our interaction via phone call and text about the DISH service, we immediately assisted you to resolve the issue. We contacted the cable company and they advised that to troubleshoot the issues, we have to be at the home. We communicated with you on the instructions to call the cable company to troubleshoot it and you stated you planned to contact them later that day. Following our conversation, we didn't receive any follow-up from you.
- We value the cleanliness of our home and our cleaners professionally service and prepare it for guest use. As the home is a cabin located in the woods, bugs can be prevalent in the area.
- Communication is highly important to us and we maintain consistent availability. We were never notified about any bug issues while you were at home. We encourage guests to reach out with any concerns while in residence so we have the opportunity to make things right - the local guest contact would have been happy to help.
We work hard to carefully prepare our home and we truly go above and beyond. We are confident that future guests will have excellent stays.
A couple of issues (TV and Internet problems), but the owner was SO willing to help and try to get them working. Greatly appreciated her trying to assist

Very Close to Parker-Binns, Description Inaccurate
Everything was great except for the fact it doesn’t sleep four very well. The pull out sofa mattress will leave you with a bar across your back while you sleep. Suggestion…new pullout bed.

Cozy Cabin
The microwave went out so we were not able to warm food on Thanksgiving and remainder of stay. There wasn’t an oven so this was frustrating. The cabin is secluded ( no restaurants near) so kitchen amenities are important. And better TV service needed. Would be helpful if sign for property was lit with lights. Difficult to see when dark. I would not rent again.

Hi Andrea, thanks for taking the time to review your stay. After reading your feedback, the homeowner wanted to share the following:- We genuinely apologize for the issue you encountered with the microwave. As mentioned in our listing, we have a microwave/convection oven to provide guests with additional cooking options. When you reported the problem, we advised you to check the breaker. We have now purchased a new microwave to ensure the convenience of our future guests. - Tryon is located 9.1 miles from Millspring, NC, and has many restaurants for our guests to enjoy.- Regarding the path lights, they are working as intended. We have photo documentation demonstrating their functionality.Once again, thank you for your valuable review. Your feedback helps us improve and provide our guests the best possible experience.

Rude property management
When we got to the cabin we had a hard time unlocking the door. So we called the property manager and had to leave a message. She never called back. We figured out the lock ourselves and when we went I the cabin was extremely hot. The ac was not on. It was a 88 degree day. We had to call the property manager once again to ask about the ac. She actually picked up this time but was extremely rude about how to turn on the ac, which wasn’t easy. She also threatened us with a service charge if we didn’t do it right. Why wasn’t it on in the first place if they were going to have guests? Will never stay there again.

Lorilei, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip.
- We have instructed the cleaning crew to leave the AC running if a guest is checking in immediately, we're sorry that this didn't happen and it was hot.
- I apologize I was not trying to be rude, I just wanted to get you taken care of. We do have instructions on how to turn on the mini-split system and expressed my appreciation that you got it figured out since it does cost a minimum of $75.00 for a service call.
- I work full time and it is not always feasible for me to pick up the phone whenever it rings, I do apologize but I did respond within the hour.
We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays! We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for.

Disappointed
I had not received code as promised. Called the listed number and they told me they did not do rental properties. After much digging finally received the code. The sheets had not been changed (there was visible hair all over the bed sheets)so had to do laundry when I arrived. Overall very disappointed.
