Great getaway for 2

Walking distance to the beach, great little cottage, fireplace was amazing, supplying more than expected, great cosy cabin for 2 people for a getaway highly recommend this!

Great accommodation location

The cottage had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. So close to the beach, the wood fire was so cozy. Cute little touches made this stay feel like the host really cared out our experience. Will definitely return, love it

Too Cute

Loved our cottage. The drive in with the picket fence, old brick walls and plants bode well. It didn’t disappoint. Everything we required and incredibly cute to boot! Would stay here again if needed.

Convenient beach shack

The Sandpiper is small, clean and comfortable, courtesy of a cosy sofa, soft mattress and newish (albeit small) kitchen and bathroom. The outdoor area is great for taking in the sea air with breakfast or a glass of wine. The shade umbrella works well to keep the hot sun off. It’s also close to Rye front beach, a sub-10 min stroll. Sandpiper doesn’t offer much spatial or sonic privacy, so is ideal for a ‘familiar’ couple and in our case a quiet dog. There are a few minor annoyances, namely a temperamental TV set and fiddly kitchen blinds, which may not bother some people. Overall, Sandpiper is best for shorter stays for those who don’t need a lot of room and value proximity to the beach and Rye shops.

Tightrope of perfection!

Can’t fault our stay. Absolutely beautiful cottage with such wonderful warm hosts who really go the extra mile. The house was presented immaculately on arrival, we will be sure to recommend and also come back!

Delightful stay at Sandpiper Cottage. Loved the cottage, warm and cosy, close to the beach.

Beautifully presented cottage, very clean, homely and exactly as described. We loved the fire and being winter it was needed. Would definitely like to stay again.

Perfect little cottage

The Sandpiper Cottage was the perfect space for our get away. Lovely courtyard to relax in for a tipple or two. Only 2 blocks from the beach and a short stroll to the cafes and shops. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Cottage

Cottage is perfect for a couple. It is comfortably fitted out. We had a few complications in when we would arrive (our own doing) and the owner was very helpful and responsive in communications. Has a wood heater for winter, along with other heaters if you don't want the fire, which makes it nice and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped. There is no view to speak of but there is a nice courtyard to sit in with a BBQ for the warmer weather which would be nice and quiet. It is a very short drive to supermarket and places to eat or else a comfortable 15 minute walk. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
