Recently renovated in the popular Hamptons style, we have included all the modern amenities while carefully retaining the house's beauty and charm. There is ample space to park a number of cars, or a boat, under the carport & on the 2 driveways. We have simplified your check in with a keyless digital lock giving you full flexibility with check-in anytime after 3pm.
LOUNGE When you enter through the front door you will feel an immediate sense of calm and serenity, with large comfy lounges awaiting you in the front lounge room. Perfect for settling in to watch one of the many latest release movies we have installed on the TV. The other end is a reading nook - the bookcase is fully stocked with plenty of reading material, puzzles and games, & a dedicated laptop desk with unlimited WiFi and a docking station for charging your phone. The armchair beside the window is the perfect spot to curl up and read a good book, if you can divert your gaze away from the sea and all the birds in the trees.
KITCHEN The kitchen will transport you to the Hamptons immediately with large overhead nautical pendants & it's huge 2m long island bench, which comfortably seats 3 on its crisp white stools. The kitchen seamlessly opens onto the dining room (perfect for family get togethers) and is a true chefs delight with Miele and Omega appliances. We love to cook ourselves and have stocked the pantry with all the staples, which you are welcome to use during your stay, plus a couple of great Hamptons cookbooks.
BEDROOMS Our bedrooms are cosy (a couple on the small side) as we have endeavored to give you the biggest bed we could in each bedroom. Our thinking is a bedroom is for sleeping in and you always get a good nights rest on a big comfy bed. That is why the Main bedroom has a King size bed in it, and the Second bedroom has a Queen size bed, both with quality pillow top mattresses. All the linen is hotel quality, as are the thick fluffy towels. The third bedroom currently has a King Single Bed and a Single Bed in it. It may be the smallest room but it has the best view - straight out to sea and up into the tree tops.
BATHROOMS Second only to a good bed is a hot shower with good water pressure or a warm soak in a bathtub. Here we have both. The downstairs bathroom is truly a sanctuary with a freestanding bath and a generous sized semi-frameless shower. We have even installed dimmer lights so you can luxuriate in the tub with some mood lighting.
Upstairs the bathroom is smaller but still has a generous semi-frameless shower, and a vanity with perfect natural light for makeup application. Note: Both showers have a rain shower head AND a handheld shower head.
SUNROOM Across the front upstairs the sunroom has a large 55cm TV (also with movies) and flows out onto the front balcony which overlooks the Bay. It is the perfect spot for watching the sailing boats, or to watch the mesmerising sunrise in the morning. (you have never seen the sun this colour before, I'm sure)
PERGOLA & BBQ Out the back is yet another great living area. Relax under the large undercover pergola area with a dining table capable of seating 8 people, or fire up the gas BBQ and cook up that local catch of the day. Perfect for long summery lunches or evening al fresco dining.
GUEST INTERACTION This is our holiday home but we do not live here so you have full reign of the house and grounds. There is a keyless digital lock installed so you are not locked into check-in times (so long as you arrive after 3pm), plus there are no keys to worry about or loose.
Even though we aren't on-site we are just a phone call away and know the area like the back of our hand, so can assist with any questions you have. Plus we have put together an extensive Guest Guide which includes everything you will need to know about the house (including how to operate the appliances and where all the amenities are located) plus a complete listing of local businesses in the area and even some discount coupons for their services.
INCLUSIONS We love to come here for our getaways too and so you will find we have equipped this home with all the amenities and extra little things we like to use when we are on vacation. Like the bookcase which is overflowing with best-selling novels, magazines, puzzles, games, cook books, and more. The kitchen has all the staples you will need to make a gourmet meal, or popcorn for movie night, or a delicious batch of pancakes for breakfast. We have even included a bed tray so you can spoil your special someone with breakfast in bed.
But the piece d'resistance would have to be the telescope in the upstairs sunroom which allows you a birds eye view of the birds in the trees along the foreshore, or the sail boats that race on Moreton Bay every Wednesday and Sunday afternoons. There are so many relaxing things to do at the house you will want to extend your stay. And that's before you've even ventured outside to discover the amazing location of Moreton Bay.

This proved a great place for our stay while attending a family wedding
Comfortable place to stay with excellent fittings. Extras like an iron and a printer on which we were able to print out and updated wedding run sheet we’re a bonus.

Wendy, It was such a delight to host your lovely family recently. You were the ideal guests. I can't wait to welcome you back again soon.
We stayed in Hamptons on the Bay for the weekend. We are made up of a family, with a 14month old baby. The house is clean and tidy, tastefully renovated, in a nice quiet area. There is an undercover area out the back with a Barbeque, and a couple of coffee shops/fish and chip shop within walking distance. Covered off road parking. We enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to others. Thank you Debbie for making us feel at home.

We loved staying at Hamptons at The Bay. It was a short drive to everything we needed in North Lakes and a nice drive to the Sunshine Coast.
Communication was very good with the owner Debbie, she was helpful and friendly.
The bed (king) was so comfortable, I slept soundly every night.
Debbie was so helpful and welcoming, very friendly lady. The home was beautiful and very comfortable with all the comforts of home. Would definitely recommend
Great kitchen, living areas & lovely large outside area which we were able to use even during rain. The extra touches in the kitchen were very handy. It was also very close to cafes and an IGA which was convenient. Would have be wonderful to stay longer.

It was a pleasure to host Nicole during her stay. So glad you loved the place as much as we do, and got to enjoy some of the surrounding beauty of this area. We look forward to welcoming you back. Highly recommend Nicole to other hosts.
Enjoyed our stay , lovely and quiet location, only a couple of minor issues, fly screens made it hard to open and shut windows and a very noisy hot water service.
This house was everything that was advertised. Debbie waa helpful and available all the time. The house was spotlessly clean , the furniture waa not just beautiful but also very comfortable. The beds were really comfortable, we loved the kitchen and it had everything we needed . It was a lovely quiet street an very close to cafes and the shops. We totally recommend this house and would definitely Lind to stay there again ...

Hidden Gem - Loved the house and the area - totally relaxing
We were looking for a relaxing place to stay close to Brisbane and were very pleasantly surprised to find this gorgeous Hamptons inspired home across from the water that was also so close to North Lakes. The general feeling of the area is a quaint little beachside village with a relaxed vibe. A very welcoming change at the end of each day's busy activities. The property is on a generous sized yard which is completely fenced so the kids could run around and there was no worry about traffic. The house has multiple lounging areas inside and out and there is an abundance of amenities such as board games and movies. We loved the outdoor shower after coming back from the beach and were thankful it was hot and cold water on the cooler days we were there. The BBQ area was a lovely spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch on the weekend and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. We especially loved the big comfy beds as we have king and queen beds at home, so it was nice to not have to down size while away. The real joy though was the wonderfully generous water pressure which made the rain shower heads in the showers a real treat. We highly recommend this place and have added it to our list of must stay again properties.
