Equestrian Farm Stay

Seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway close to the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills with a difference? Do you love the smell of leather, clean straw, horses and being in the country? At Uleybury Equestrian Farm Stay we offer a unique experience in a barn studio equipped with modern comforts to ensure a sound sleep guaranteed. There is a catch, you will have a couple of curious four-legged neighbours to share with.

The property is situated in the foothills of the Mt Lofty Ranges and the studio is rustic, clean and comfortable and will suit adventurous couples or single travellers. The studio has a Queen bed and leather sofa and small kitchenette with microwave oven and fridge. There are no indoor cooking facilities; however, a BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking. The shower block is located within a short walk from the studio.

The location is ideal for exploring the Barossa Valley or the Adelaide Hills via the Mount Lofty Ranges and is less than five minutes’ drive from local services and the historic town of Gawler. The surrounding country consists of the northern foothills as well as the Adelaide fresh produce food bowl and further north, the farming districts of South Australia's mid-north.

Uleybury Equestrian is a boutique equestrian facility providing private riding tuition and agistment. Horse Riding lessons are available upon request at additional cost and bookings essential. For equestrian enthusiasts, a Bed and Stable rate option is available if you would like to bring your horse.

Absolute 5 Star Stay

Wow, this place from the very arrival to leaving you made us feel like we were family (even hugs when leaving). Heidi and Micheal are absolute super stars , you guys rock, next visit I'm sure we can sit and share a bottle of Wine. The apartment and facilities are first class, we cant wait to come back and use the outdoor kitchen. We loved the horses and even Mr Chaz was enjoying himself. We don't have any negatives and will be recommending Uleybury to all. Again thank you Heidi and Micheal Love ya both Gary and Linda

Great farmstay with wonderful hosts

Thoroughly enjoyed 2 nights' stay and great to be able to bring our mini schnauzer along too. Heidi was incredibly welcoming and we had everything we needed for a lovely break. The horses and dogs were all gorgeous and really enjoyed a riding lesson on Muschi too :) Highly recommended!

This was such a nice getaway, a true gem! The studio was so cozy and our three neighbours (Utah, Mushi, Froggi) made the stay such a unique experience... Also the host Heidi went above and beyond for the both of us, couldn't recommend it more :)

Excellent property. Very clean and beautiful. The owner Heidi is very friendly and welcoming. Introduced us to her farms and beautiful horses. Guided us through to the good attractions around. Also, she provided a comfortable shelter to our dog and looked after our dog in our absence. Easy drive from Barossa valley! We would definitely stay there again. Thanks

Michael and I have been renovating our property over the past 10 years to create a park-like setting for our boutique Equestrian Facility. We both love to travel and many of the garden features, particularly the deciduous trees are inspired by our favourite places in the UK and Europe. We also love to provide our guests with activities to experience the wonder and beauty of South Australia. We offer boat trips to the River Murray, Horse Riding on the property and Wine Tours in the Barossa.
Most of the time you will find us on the property dressed in farm attire with our sleeves rolled up, boots on and working on a new project build, maintaining the garden and property or spending time with the horses.

The district of Uleybury is surrounded by rolling hills and wide open spaces. Our property is located close to Gawler and is nestled on the slopes of the Mt Lofty foothills commanding amazing views and sensational sunsets over the ocean in the distance.

The studio is located in the stable block with our friendly horses! We are pet-friendly and can accommodate dogs, cats or horses by appointment.
