We loved staying at Hinterland Heaven, the scenery was beautiful and the property itself was very spacious and tidy, it had all the things we needed for a three night stay. We loved the pool and felt it was the perfect place to relax. We did feel a little too far out of Byron to be able to pop in and out however, we made the most of staying in and enjoying the beautiful Hinterland surroundings.

Relaxing Christmas in Paradise

The house was beautiful and cozy with enough space for our group of 10. The property had so much space for outdoor activities and the pool was refreshing and picturesque. Communication with Lisa throughout the booking was very easy and she was so responsive and accommodating. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful

This is a lovely spot. The pool was a big hit. Great for cooling down after your morning walk to doma for coffee and in the afternoon before drinks at sunset. Lisa-Mae has a fantastic collection of books for the adults and tv streaming options for teens and kids. There are a few minor maintenance issues which I’m sure Lisa-Mae will see to for the next guests. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Hinterland haven

We had a great week with friends from UK. The house is very comfortable with everything you need. The best part is the view from the house - quite divine - just beautiful green tropical forest We loved the verandah for meals and the pool was stunning. It was perfect temperature without heating (January) warm but refreshing. It was great to have umbrella and banana lounges too. We had the cabin as well and this was super comfortable and great if people needed their own space. Federal town is lovely and a nice walk down (good for a work out!) Lisa was incredibly helpful and obliging and gave us detailed information. Great place.

Lisa's place is lovely and serene. The pool is the highlight. The space was generous and the beds were comfortable. We all had a super relaxing week.

great location, online images a little misleading as a hedge has grown up to obscure views from the house to the pool and wider area and a hammock featured wasn't there. dirty drink container and towel found at check in and certain equipment lacking - scissors, microwave, matches , instructions for anything ( DVD player required a lot of sorting out ).also guests are not allowed to switch the spar on . Outdoor furniture becoming a little tired. Fantastic wildlife - there really are koalas easily seen around the property. Lovely morning walk into federal and great coffee available on arrival. the pool is huge and lovely. Third bedroom in main house definitely set up for little kids, did fit a teenager but windows dont open so stuffy.

Peaceful hinterland hideaway

Such a gorgeous home away from home tucked away on top of a glorious hillside with panoramic views of lush green hillsides. The pool was incredible and Lisa was a great host. Federal is a charming little village with great Japanese restaurant and artisan coffee shop and a cute general store. Highly recommend
