Open the French doors and you will find yourself on larger wrap around deck where your backdrop is the Wombat State Forest, descend the stairs and explore your private 1.6 acres of established gardens with their European influence that connects with the Swiss Italian heritage of the area. Immerse yourself in your environment by ambling around the garden that is filled with grape vines, fruit orchard, tumbling roses, cottage garden and your own private olive grove you will quickly understand why its Hepburn's Hidden Gem.
Sit quietly in the garden and enjoy the sounds of Kookaburras laughing in the treetops, watch the Honey-eater birds go about their business, and wait for the Kangaroos to arrive for there evening feed.

I had a wonderful stay at this charming property. The location is ideal—just a short walk to the town center, yet peacefully quiet and relaxing. One of the highlights was the beautiful garden, filled with a variety of plants that created a serene and welcoming atmosphere.The kitchen was another standout feature: spacious, well-equipped, and thoughtfully stocked with plenty of cooking tools, cutlery, and utensils. It made preparing meals a real pleasure.The bedrooms were very comfortable, offering a restful and cozy space to unwind after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home.

Charming country escape

This was our dream property, we didn't want to leave, the houses decor is so perfectly curated, its stunning, and it's so cosy and comfortable, we loved the fire place and the cottage style gardens and herbs and vegetable patch, it's a true haven for relaxation and recharging. The sound of the birds was bliss.

We were very pleased with the property, three adults all requiring their own room. The house was comfortable and provided all our needs. The yard was beautiful. The northern sun streams onto the balcony and into the living areas in the afternoon giving warm respite on cool afternoons. The open fire was a bonus.

We are over seventy in age the stairs where a problem for us to use, some railing would have been.

The cottage is very sweet, in interior was very much to my liking, views out side of the windows great. The air is fresh and smells great, bird sounds are so relaxing.

Peaceful & Relaxing

The absolutely beautiful garden is the first thing that strikes you at Kookaburra Ridge. It was so relaxing to sit on the deck and listen to all the birds whilst having that first cuppa and then be able take a stroll around the huge property, smelling the roses as you go. The house is very comfortable and well equipped, walking distance to Hepburn and an easy two minute drive to Daylesford. This was our second stay and we hope to stay again.

Amazing stay/stunning property

From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, we could not find fault in this stunning property. The furnishings, art, and the presentation of inside and out was astonishing to every corner, so much thought went into this property. Thank you for having the lights and heaters going, this made the house welcoming walking in.. oh, and the fireplace set up for when we needed to light it. We will definitely be back, thank you for your effort 🙏

Fabulous Stay

The property is very well located from Hepburn and Daylesford, and you only need to drive a couple of minutes for a couple very nice restaurants. The kids had great fun in the beautifully maintained ground and the woods at the back. The deco inside is beautiful. The Spa is great. The only downsides are no wifi (kids ipads had to use our mobile data for connection) and that upstairs aircon is noisy. However overall it was fantastic.

Loved our weekend at Kookaburra Ridge..will definitely be returning. The house is fabulous and a wonderful garden to wander in and enjoy from the deck. All just a few mins drive from the main strip of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs.

Visit to the area for Borealis on the lake

We really enjoyed our stay at Kookaburra Ridge. The house and surrounding property are beautifully presented and decorated, and the home was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The standard of cleanliness was perfect, and our two young granddaughters and their parents also enjoyed our three days.

Quiet getaway

Had a lovely couple of nights in this beautiful property. It was so nice when we entered and the heating was on for us. Bedding was very comfortable and a warm ambience through out. We mainly ate in so some cleaning products, dishwasher tablets and paper towels would have been good. I could not get wifi so had no phone :( was not aware of this. Would come back again still, thanks

Great getaway

Really enjoyed staying here with my husband and 2.5yo son for a long weekend. Great location, close to lots of attractions and the home was well kept and had everything we needed. The walk into town has hills but that is to be expected of the area. Great character and little touches like coffee, tea, chocolate, wine, biscuits, electric blankets, spa bath were much appreciated. Just to take note for families with younger toddlers, the property backyard is on a slope leading down into a valley and the home has lots of beautiful antiques so keep a close eye on your little one. We didnt find it an issue with our 2.5yo and thoroughly enjoyed those aspects but could be a factor for others. We would definately return here for another stay and would highly recommend!

Beautiful house and gardens

The place is lovely and sitting on the deck in the afternoon light with autumn leaves all round was delightful. The spa was deep and luxurious and provided products smelt deliciously coconutty. There is a lot of noise heard between bedrooms so hopefully you all go to bed and rise at the same time! Really a gorgeous stay and generous treats left for us too. Would stay again.

Family getaway

Chose this property as we wanted to support local businesses and holiday in Victoria after all the COVID lockdowns and this was just a 2 hour drive from home. We were not disappointed! The property was beautifully presented and equipped and the location was superb, Would definitely consider returning!

Brilliant stay in your lovely house

The pictures do not do the property justice - its an incredible home with everything you could possibly need. Also a great location, very close to Daylesford and Hepburn towns, but far enough away so that you feel like you are in the countryside. Could not recommend the home more highly! Will be back for sure!
