Myself and 3 friends throughly enjoyed our weekend of R&R! House was spotless, had all the things we needed. Spa was fun! Only 3mins walk to back beach, 5 mins drive to supermarket & shops, only 15mins drive to Alba & Pen Hot Springs. Will book again. Loved it!

Poor management made for an unpleasant stay
While the house itself was quite nice, our stay was a bit of a disaster. There's no number on the house, the instructions to find the key were incorrect as the lockbox had been moved some time ago.
Once we got in we found only two logs of wood for the fire and a long trek out to the wood box for more wood. We tried to get in the spa as it looked hot only to find it was freezing beneath the top layer and it was infested with ants. The management was unable to help us fix the spa, eventually a couple of workers came out and found the power button- they said it was the previous tenants faul for turning it off. It should have been checked when they readied the house and instructions for the power switch should have been provided.
The frustrations continued throughout the weekend, we were continually having to google the basic appliances to find out how to unlock them, as basic instructions weren't provided.
The cutlery and crockery were filthy and clearly hadn't been checked by the cleaner.
We did write to the managers about our issues and were simply told that this would be fixed for future customers, but we are incredibly sceptical.

Our apologies that your stay did not meet your full expectations.
We apologise that you had to go out into the backyard to collect more firewood however, only a limited supply can be stored inside.
When you first notified us of the spa, our staff members were at the property within 15 minutes. Action was taken to remove ants from spa and surrounding area. There was no fault with the spa, it has simply been turned off and had not been noticed. Our housekeepers have been reminded to check the spa prior to each booking. As it was reported after hours, we organised a spa technician, who arrived before 9am the very next morning to ensure it was ready to use for the rest of your stay. Again there was not a fault with the spa, but to reassure you we arranged the extra service.
We feel we did everything we could to rectify the issue as quickly as possible.
Again, we apologise and the issues you have raised have been rectified for future guests.
