Villa Casuarina - a short stroll to the beach

This comfortable and much loved property is a short stroll to the beach - 1 to 2 minutes down the laneway. Perfect for family holidays or up to three couples who want to enjoy exploring the local area with its varied restaurants, markets and coffee shops. The subtropical beach boardwalk is perfect for cycling or walking, or you can choose to explore other areas such as Kingscliff and Cabarita, which are minutes away.

The property also features a private, fenced, plunge pool ideal for cooling off after a morning on the beach with easy lounging and viewing from the downstairs balcony. Inside there are two levels both featuring comfortable couches and TVs. The upstairs balcony has a barbecue and dining area.

Upstairs features a well-equipped modern kitchen, a breakfast bar, dining table, lounge and TV, and the main queen size bedroom, wall TV and en-suite, the main upstairs balcony with barbecue and outdoor dining area and a second small outdoor balcony with lounge. There are many places to relax and read books upstairs, inside and outside.

Downstairs includes another lounge and TV area and two bedrooms, one queen size and one double room with a further single fold out divan, and a bathroom. There is also a small office with two bunk beds ideal for children, and a small hidden laundry. The outside poolside balcony includes a day bed for lounging.
Reverse cycle air conditioning is installed upstairs and downstairs in all areas.

There is a remote double lock up garage and bikes that the owners leave for your use along the kilometers of beach-side bike paths. (NB no bike helmets are supplied)
All bed and bathroom linen supplied at an extra cost per head, excluding Beach Towels.
15 minutes from Coolangatta airport to the north and only a 30-minute drive to Byron Bay in the south.
Casuarina beach is 3.5km of untouched beach ideal for long peaceful walks, surfing, fishing or building sandcastles. Surf lifesavers are in attendance in the school holidays & on summer weekends. The patrolled beach is approx. 200 meters north.

This is a house to holiday with friends, family and children. It is not available for parties, weddings or 'Schoolies'.

Two Queen size bedrooms, one with en-suite, one Double bedroom with extra single fold out divan, one office with two bunk beds.

Well appointed kitchen with dishwasher, juice extractor, toaster, kettle, coffee grinder and plungers with initial supply of some basic pantry items to get you started. There is also a small herb garden.

Tea towels supplied, linen and bath towels are provided at an extra cost per head and all required beds will be made up for your arrival. (Note again beach towels not supplied).

Things to do and how to get there:
Villa Casuarina is central in Casuarina on Pheeny Lane.
Close to wonderful shops and great restaurants at Kingscliff, Salt and Cabarita, Pottsville, Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads.
Bike hire available at Cabarita Cycles. There is 3.5 km of walk/bike path at Casuarina, this continues on for a further 26 km.
Casuarina Gym & Rec. Club with heated training pool and full size pool 2 minutes walk away. Individual or group training i.e Gym, yoga, Pilates, boxing etc.. Massage also available.
Osteria Bar & Restaurant & corner store adjacent to the Gym – great food and coffee
Coles and specialty shops located approx. 1 km from house
Casuarina Beach - 3.5km of untouched beautiful beaches, great for surfing, fishing or just lovely long walks
'Surfing Australia' are based at Casuarina, Beginners to Intermediate for Learning to surf

Great affordable spot just metres from the beach, in the most amazing part of the Northern Rivers. This is clearly a well loved and looked after beach home. It was perfect for our week-long stay over Easter.

Beautiful villa

We loved our stay at Villa Casuarina. There was plenty of space for all our family (7 of us) and we especially loved the balconies and pool area. The kitchen was really well equipped and we cooked most nights, enjoying sitting on the balcony to eat all our meals. We loved exploring the area, with the beautiful beaches and creek. Perfect Family House!

We absolutely loved our week at Villa Casuarina (4 adults + 4 kids under 10yrs)! The house was so spacious & had a real welcoming, homely feel. There was everything we needed plus more! Beds were super comfy, all rooms had both fans & reverse cycle air con. The location was amazing with a direct path next to the house straight to the beach (3-4 minute walk). We would highly recommend this place to everyone & hope to return ourselves one day!

Property exceeded our expectations, Great location, in between kingscliff and Cabarita Beach. Everything was there to use at the property, beach 2 min walk away access next to the property. Spent a lot of time on the balcony overlooking the pool cooking bbq and relaxing. Property was very clean, well maintained and great for our family but could have easily accommodated 3 couples. We hope to return again next year, if not sooner.

Happy days at Casuarina

We were looking for a spacious house where the three teens and the parents could hang out together or separately, and this house was perfect. From the high quality bed linen and towels, to big comfy sofas and board games, it had everything we needed. We had a car which enabled us to explore the regions north and south, but also walked to the Salt area 3.5kms away most mornings for coffee and croissants on the beach. We hope to return and would happily recommend this house to others looking for a relaxing break.

Villa 2 casuarina

The villa was beautiful, lots of items for use such as pots and pans, cutlery, blankets, books to read, brochures on things to do, basically everything you need. The plunge pool was good, too cold for me though. Bikes, extra chairs, loads of hats and bags just inside the door. Host kept us informed and respoded promptly. Would stay there again.

We had such a lovely stay at Villa Casuarina, our second visit. The house is fantastic, with plenty of space to spread out and settle down for the post beach afternoon nap. The location is great, with the walking track and beach just a few minutes away. None of us wanted to leave!

Great Location and size for a Family of 5

This property is in a great location to enjoy the Casaurina/Kingscliff. 1 block back from the beach, so easy walking distance for the smallest of person. The size of this property was wonderful for our family of 5. Unfortunately Cyclone Seth was sitting off the coast so we didn't get to use the pool as much we would of liked to. Would not hesitate in staying at the same location again. Owners communication was fantastic. Extremely neat and tidy on arrival. You won't be disappointed. Shame the weather wasn't the greatest while there.

A wonderful and peaceful place to stay

The holiday home was amazing - large, clean, open and airy and even comes with your own plunge pool! A real benefit especially during this COVID pandemic. Mark was great and extremely accomodating.
