About this property
5 bedroom 2 bathroom family holiday home with views of Geographe Bay
Perfect for big families, or those who enjoy a bit of extra space. The Tree House comes fully equipped with everything you need for a holiday Down South, including a spacious kitchen, all linen, a bbq area, deck with ocean views and even gear like a bikes, surfboards or fishing rods provided upon request. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, it's a leisurely 15-minute stroll to Old Dunsborough's pristine beaches or a 10-minute bike ride to the shops.
The only thing you need do is unwind!
Tree House booked? Ask me about "Old School Yallingup", available selected weeks in school holidays. Interested in a "Glamping" experience? Ask me about our caravan for hire "Yallingup Daze"!
There are two levels with a steep wooden staircase between. Great for two families to stay and still have a level each, if you want some chill time. Down stairs includes the main family room, kitchen, three bedrooms and both bathrooms. There's also a bbq area out the back, with a grassed area where the kids can run amok while you kick back and enjoy a well-deserved drink. Upstairs hosts the second family room, two bedrooms and the deck, which has views of the bay on both sides. Since this is set up for holiday stays, you'll have access to the entire space. I provide all linen including bath and beach towels, and there is Wifi, Smart TVs with Netflix, DVD players, a large range of DVDs, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, blender, slow cooker, toasty machine, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer, hair dryer, big free standing bath, high chairs, cots, BBQ, indoor wood fire, outdoor braziers, outdoor gas heater, outdoor bar fridge (please just ask me to turn it on for you), outdoor hot water shower, books, magazines and board games available for guest use. A wide range of organic/environmentally friendly/socially conscious personal and cleaning products are also provided (e.g. hand wash, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, essential oils, bath salts etc.). Surfboards, bikes, fishing rods, fishing tackle and extra baby gear can be provided if you need it. Just let me know in advance. If you have to do a bit of work during your stay, there is also a laptop stand, mouse, keyboard and ethernet cables. One basket of firewood is provided free of charge, full access to Eve’s wood shed can be purchased for $15 per day.
I live just 15 mins drive away in Yallingup, so can be on hand if required. I can give you tips on the best wineries, breweries, beaches and surf locations; whatever you need, just ask!
Down South WA is full of outdoor adventure and world-class wineries. With mountain bike tracks and bush walks at the back door, hiking trails up the coast, world class surf breaks just around the corner, beautiful beaches everywhere and great fishing spots nearby there is plenty to do for active souls. If you prefer to simply chill out and unwind there are loads of excellent wineries, good breweries and quaint galleries to explore. Please note that the neighbourhood is very quiet, so wild parties are a definite no no. But, feel free to enjoy a sip on the deck while listening to some relaxing tunes.
A car is definitely the best option if you want to fully explore the region, but if you are happy to just chill around Dunsborough I can provide some bikes to help you get around.
The hot water is not limitless - large bookings need to be prepared to take short showers or plan showers in shifts to allow the hot water to build up again after high use.
Base prices (for up to 4 guests) vary with the season as follows, plus the 5.5% VRBO commission and a $200 cleaning fee.
Low season (May, June, July, August, September): $250 per night
Mid season (October, November, February, March, April and July school holidays): $270 per night
High season (December and October school holidays): $320 per night
Peak Season (January and April School Holidays, Long Weekends): $450
Guests above 4 incur an additional fee of $15 per person per night.
The rate for leavers/schoolies is $120 per person per night plus $250 cleaning fee and $1000 bond.
The minimum stay during January school holidays is 7 days. The minimum stay during April, July and October school holidays is 5 nights. The minimum stay otherwise is 3 nights, although a 2 night stay may be considered subject to availability - just ask Eve.
Extra large group? Talk to me about booking both The Tree House and Kookaburra Cottage (next door).

About the host
Hosted by Eve Armanasco
I'm a fun and friendly surfer chick all about enjoying the awesome lifestyle of the south west. I love wine, coffee, chatting, camping, travelling and fishing.
Why they chose this property
I bought this home for its fantastic location. Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac at the top end of Old Dunsborough means that the property is super quiet and surrounded by lovely bushland, but is still close to all the action of town and the beach.
What makes this property unique
The views of Geographe Bay from the upstairs balconies are very special - I love to light the chiminea and enjoy the dusk in front of a crackling fire with a glass of red!
The Tree House makes the perfect holiday house with lots of bedrooms and two separate family rooms - you can have one family upstairs and one family down, or sleep all the kids one one level and have the other as an adults only sanctuary! There is also a fully enclosed backyard so pooch doesn't have to miss out on the holiday.
With the Old Dunsborough golf course just behind you will sometimes catch a Kangaroo on the front lawn, and super fun mountain bike trails start just meters from the back door.
