Fisher museum, aquarium, bike riding, fishing, river tours by kayak and lots of great restaurants..Whether you are looking to do nothing and relax or you like to stay busy ..Kure offers it all on this wondrful little island. Condo has washer-dryer, full brand new kitchen,queen bed in bedroom, bunk beds and the couch makes out to a bed..Rocking chairs on the deck to enjoy the view.....Come relax and enjoy the beach..Condos offer a pool in the summer..Walkway to the beach is right by the condo making easy access for beach time..Ft. Fisher is located right beside the condo providing gorgeous unobstructed views of gorgeous rocks. The aquarium is only 2 miles from the condo..You can also catch the ferry iver t southport. The island provides fishing, biking, and lots of local flair.

The property was very cozy and has an awesome view. You’re only a few feet away from the beach. It had all the amenities we needed. We’d already booked our trip but decided to extend our stay and found this listing and for that I’m thankful. Kure is magical and this little condo was perfect for our last few days.

We had a wonderful time! The location is quiet and perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. I actually found it nicer than the pictures depicted. I loved that it is right next to the Ft. Fisher Historic Site because it is has a trail great for morning walks/bike rides along the beach. Nice view of the beach from the balcony and the washer and dryer was great to have. The condo is only 10 minutes from Carolina Beach and about 30 minutes from Wrightsville Beach (if you want to venture out). Lundie was very responsive to our needs and provided great info on where to visit during our stay. My only suggestion to the owners would be to update the mattresses (they are clean but dated) and to have the unit ready at the top of the hour (we had to circle the parking lot for 15 minutes before we could get into the unit). I would 100% recommend this unit to anyone. We had a lovely time!

Great condo at a great location!

We (a family of 3) had a great time during our weekend getaway at Lundie’s place. Wonderful location, beautiful beach, a 5-minute walk away from the Fort Fisher State Historic site. The condo was super clean, it was better looking than the pictures, and the communication with the host was awesome! Lundie and her husband are very helpful and responsive hosts!! Overall a great value - highly recommend this accommodation for any couples or small families.

Quiet vacation

The location of this property is great. Very quiet end unit with no traffic. Great view of the beach from the living room. The bed was very comfortable. Nice washer and dryer in the unit.

This is our new favorite in Carolina/Kure beach area! Cleaner than any other propert we have stayed in from NC to FL! Very short walk to the beach area. Owner was very informative and quick to respond to the request to book last minute!

Great Stay!

Property is just as described and as it looks in the pictures. Everything was clean and ready upon arrival. Communication was great! Lundie offered suggestions from the most convenient grocery store to restaurants and souvenir shopping. All were spot on. Condo location was just great. Easy access, nice beach views and, quick and easy beach access. Very quiet and crowd free area. Really enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Great location

We had a blast at Lundies condo! We did a quick last second booking for the beach this year. It has access to everything on the beach side of the main road, perfect little private beach right down the paved sidewalk. Plenty of places to eat and get ice cream with the board walk and pier right down the street. Also have the aquarium at fort fisher that’s not to far. You could also access the four wheel drive beach if you would like in fort fisher. The condo was perfect for our little family of four! Thanks so much! We will keep this in mind for next time!

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed my stay here. The location was prime! The living/dining area was far larger than the pictures really show - but we spent all our time outside. There is so much to see and do nearby, being bored is impossible. You can go to the beach in front of the building(s), but we liked the beach that is a tiny bit of a walk towards Fort Fisher. A little farther down is another beach with a lifeguard. Or there is the pier or other areas for public parking. In short, you have many options. This seems to be an older property, and you can see some age, but that was perfectly acceptable. It was clean and well-taken care of. The host provided odds and ends such as beach chairs, pool noodle, etc. - much appreciated! I think I saw a deck of cards somewhere; possibly a few other games would be nice. There were only 2 of us, so we were good on towels, but a few more would be appropriate I think. I would have liked to try the bikes out, but they seemed kind of rusty and I wasn't sure of the overall upkeep so I passed on that. Plenty of pans and dishes. Great hair dryer - no iron. Bring your own pillows. Be prepared to have to write a note to put on your dashboard re your rental to prevent towing. Or, the host could leave a pre-written note for the guest to fully ensure a perfect stay.
