This is our second time staying here. Great views and everything is provided to make a great getaway. Good restaurants nearby and scenic drives. We saw elk one evening on the back of the property.

This was the perfect place for my family to stay, rest, explore, and relax. Check-in/out was easy and all directions were easy to follow. We were extremely grateful to be able to do our laundry while there. Also, the cabin was just close enough and far enough from town to truly enjoy ourselves! We would love to stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Cabin 42. The weather was perfect. Cloudcroft was a neat little town. Elephant Butte Lake was awesome. White sands was beautiful. Watching the Elk from the back porch with a cup of coffee was very relaxing. We couldn’t have more satisfied. The cabin was perfect for what we wanted. We enjoyed celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary at Cloudcroft. Hopefully in the future we will be making another trip there. I give the experience a 10. Thank you!

Excellent floor plan. 2 bathrooms perfect. Reclining chairs made all the difference in the world. Would not been comfortable without the chairs. Hummingbird feeder should have been up .Bought one in Cloudcroft and installed . Had 20 counted birds the next day . Fed the jays food from Family Dollar but they never came. A few elk came through one evening.

Wonderful getaway

What a wonderful place to get away for Spring break. The cabin was peacefully remote, but close enough to town that we never felt we were too far away. Great sunsets, and lots of wildlife.

Pleasant stay in the mountains

The views from the 2 porches were beautiful. I enjoyed the wood burning stove. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. We would love to stay here again.

Nice place with lots of elk and a few deer. Very clean and roomy inside and set outside and watch the hummingbirds in the cool.

Outstanding!! The cabin was clean and comfortable and well stocked. Communication with the host was great. We really enjoyed sitting in the cabin or outside on one of the porches and watching the elk that were there in abundance! Very relaxing! Would definitely stay here again!
