Joey's at Iluka - Bring the boat

'Joey's at Iluka', located in the main street is the ideal spot to bring all your water toys. Just a few minutes walk across to the swimming area on the river, the boat ramp down the road, local supermarket, bakery and coffee shops just around the corner and a nice walk to the local pub. Joey's is a classic beach house with complete veranda to find the perfect spot to sit and unwind.
There is plenty of garden for the children to play and a small fenced area for dogs including an enclosed veranda. (please refer to dog rules if wishing to bring a dog)
The beach house has been partially renovated, keeping its original charm. There are 3 bedrooms, main with QB and wardrobes, one with DB and 3rd with KSB plus floor mattress (on request) and wardrobe.
The 80's style bathroom has bath and shower with separate toilet and vanity. The kitchen and open living/dining area look out to the caravan park with the odd view of the river.
The breeze is divine and the deck is a great place to relax and watch the kids play and have a BBQ.

The property has a laundry with washing machine and clothes line.

OUTSIDE ONLY PETS CONSIDERED:
OUTSIDE DOGS ONLY ALLOWED BY SPECIAL REQUEST - guests must bring own linen (pillows and fitted sheets supplied) A security bond of $500 for pets will be applied after accepting booking. A dog policy wil be sent to guest prior to booking. The fence is 1.2m high for dogs that may jump.
Maximum number of dogs allowed is 2.
Guests are to notify if wishing to bring a dog and A PET POLICY WILL BE EMAILED.

The free standing garage at the back is not available to access by guests.

Joey's is situated within walking distance to most of what Iluka offers... river, sporting fields, including tennis courts, bowling club, skate park, swimming area, ferry to Yamba, all shops and a stroll along the boardwalk to Sedgers Reef Hotel. Take a short drive to beautiful beaches with great surf and walks through Iluka Nature reserve.
Iluka has many 4WD beaches to enjoy fishing and surfing.

Joey's had everything we needed and more. Very cosy, homely house, comfortable beds and a wrap around verandah and yard for the dogs. Great location with everything within walking distance . Really happy with the house and location. Everything was so close we could walk there - shops, cafe, and water. Lovely feel to the home and had a great time playing board games with the kids. Will go again 😊

Great little getaway.

We enjoyed a few nights in Iluka at the Charles street property. The location was great and close to everything . Out dog enjoyed the yard and large verandah. We will be back.

Lovely tidy comfortable home. Convenient to everything. Communication with owner is great. Neighbours friendly. (Disappointed no coffee machine tho otherwise would have brought mine) lovely fenced off area for dogs plus fully enclosed verandah. Plenty of room to bring 2 cars and a boat. Boat ramp just up the road. Thanku for a lovely stay Would definitely recommend:)

We usually do have one however it was leaking and I had to temporarily replace it with the coffee plunger, due to the inability to get a new one that day. It is now back at the property. Our beach sojourn

Ideal location and walking distance to shops and ferry. The house has all the necessities for our holiday venture including some basic bits in the pantry to start us off. The most disappointing feature was the limited fenced dog space and even that was easily jumped over by one of our dogs so he spent his home time on the chain!! Really good communication with the owners and the neighbours and the surrounding verandah was a plus.

Iluka short stay

We arrived at night in pouring rain. Getting from the car, thru the gates and up the stairs was a bit tricky, especially with dogs to keep safe in the yard. Once we got inside the house had a good distribution of rooms and we settled in with ease The next day the rain stopped and we did some great walks along the river, through the shops and did some fishing at the beach. We tried out the new pub for dinner. In general the house was well placed and very comfortable We were sad to have to leave the next day and wished we could have stayed for the rest of the week.

Iluka a little paradise

Well maintained house, in a very central and convenient location, access to ferry wharf, riverside walking path, short drive to beach, close to useful stores. The house light and airy, comfortable bedrooms and living area and with well equipped kitchen.

Lovely Little Place

Our family loved staying in your beach cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. It was very close to the boat ramp and there was plenty of space to park our big boat. The dog was happy and enjoyed the spacious yard.
