Enjoy strolling through the village, shopping, gaming fine dining, take out or delivery. Explore the lake, it's beaches, take in the sights and it's memorable, one of a kind views, go horseback riding, boating, jet sking, swimming, biking, hiking, or ride a tube, sled or toboggan down snowy slopes, it's all here and just minutes away.

Diamond Peak is the closest of the 6 ski and snowboarding resorts and it is only a short couple of miles away by either Diamond Peaks free shuttle service, that you can board right in front of the property or by taking your own personal transportation and Diamond Peak offers the very best in world class skiing and snowboarding as well as some of the most breathtaking mountain top views available anywhere in Tahoe. And after a full day of fun filled exploration and exciting recreational activities, you'll want to relax and soak in our outdoor hot tub that is open year-round for your convenience and pleasure.

Self check-in is with an attendant at the front desk on a video screen.

Check-in is after 4 p.m. but you can call 800-821-4912 or 800-788-4297 the day of your arrival to see if you can check in early, almost always you can. Be sure and get your free access Wi-Fi password at that time as well.

Also during check-in you will need a valid photo ID preferably driver's license, Military ID or something like that. It must have your photo and your name on it. And lastly you'll need a valid credit card for the $100 security deposit that will we be returned to you, when you leave the place damage free.

Great Location

Decided to test out ski hills in Tahoe and this was a perfect spot. Close to all ski hills and the kitchen was perfect for us to cook at home. Hot tub right out front of unit was great.

Great place to stay in N Lake Tahoe

I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the amenities at this place. The unit was upgraded and had everything. The owner kept in contact with me throughout the stay. I plan to visit again!

First I could not check in because misplaced hard copy of ID. Then spent hour trying to get a hold of host but no one could find him while my 9 year old and 72 year old friend were freezing in snow. Then after all of that found I could email my passport or ID. I threatened the virtual agent I would call police since they would not allow me to check in though I had valid ID. Then after all that the host said place sleeps 5 yet only one hard rock bed. The villas sleep 5 and not studio. I asked worker for roll away cart and would not provide. My daughter cried because she had to sleep on ground and me and 72 year old friend had to share bed. What was worse is that there was no one staying at property. We easily could have been taken care of. This is problem of booking with these sites and no live people to check you in. What a joke.

Great value for the price

At the high 2-figure / low 3-figure per night price point during the peak of summer wedding season, this was a great value. However, check in took 15-20 mins, so that needs to be fixed.

Property listing was not accurate

Beware: the listing was not as stated when we arrived. The listing stated it had a pull out couch with a queen bed in a separate room. We took extra care to verify this with the owner before we booked as my husband and I have two children. Approximately two days before we arrived, the owner called to say there was a mix up and his time share did not have a separate room. It was two days before NYE and there were no other affordable options. He offered to book us a Motel 6 room in Reno, but that was not going to work for us as we wanted to ski each day at Diamond Peak in Incline. Since we were meeting friends up in Incline, we had no choice and decided to bring a blow up bed. Maybe it was just an honest mistake? I had my doubts. Before we arrived, we asked the front desk staff for extra blankets and sheets explaining what had happened. The front desk staffed laughed and said this owner has done this before. That really made me mad. When we arrived, the room only had a full bed, not even a queen. At this point we felt duped by the owner. How disingenuous! We have never experienced this level of dishonesty for a rental before. After a day or so, the nice front desk people at the property were luckily able to get us a room like we though we were renting and we were so grateful. Bottom line, be wary of this listing and know it is just a studio with full bed. It might okay for just two people, but not for our family of four. I do, however, have to give the property five stars for cleanliness and willingness to help us out.
