The Red House on Canyon Lake is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home directly on Canyon Lake. Your family will fall in love with this home's great outdoor spaces and come back for years to come. The upper deck and lower patio are both perfectly situated to give you a view of the sun setting over the water every evening. Relax with the tranquility and beauty of Canyon Lake while you grill on the charcoal grill on the lower deck. Amenities include digital cable TV, central AC and heat, and high speed wireless internet access (free). Pets are welcome!

The Guadalupe River feeds Canyon Lake and has some of the best tubing, fishing, rafting and kayaking in Texas. It is located just minutes from our home. Many guests love to go tubing down the Guadalupe River at the Horseshoe. White tailed deer, foxes, roadrunners, and other wildlife are in abundance in the Texas Hill Country and especially at Canyon Lake. The Texas Hill Country is famous for its hilly terrain, live oak trees, limestone rocks, native animals, and clean fresh air.

Great local attractions include: Canyon Lake, Canyon lake Dam, Guadalupe River, Canyon Lake Yacht Club, Canyon Lake Golf Club, Canyon Lake Gorge, Heritage Museum and Dinosaur Tracks, and Gruene Hall.

Fun on the lake

The Red House on Canyon Lake was a great spot for access to the water and water views. The sunsets as well as the sunrises were so pretty.The kitchen, dining and living area are open and spacious. The hosts were very attentive and accommodating. We plan on going back.

As a husband and wife team, Craig and I do our best to make your stay at Canyon Lake as relaxing as possible. I have been coming to Canyon Lake all my life, since my father began working there in 1967. Some of my most fond memories are of my siblings and me boating with my parents, having picnics on the shore, and eventually bringing our own children to the lake for holidays. Craig and I have shared many memories on the lake since we met in 1989, and we hope to bring that same joy to you!

As parents of six great kids (ages 16-26), we try to keep our lake homes as "kid friendly" as possible. 24 years of raising children has made us experts at rolling with the punches, and we are always here to assist your stay in any way! We are happy to answer all of your questions about our lake house and the area. I hope you'll contact us today.
