Located on a semi-private lake between Hayward and Cable. Surrounded by 40 wooded acres with hiking paths. Near the OO trailhead for the Birkie and CAMBA trails. DVD, and pool table. Swimming raft, kayaks, canoe, paddle & row boats.

Remodeled and updated lakehouse all to yourself. Large living room for relaxing. Expansive deck for eating out and basking in the sun. Plus a fire ring and cookout area facing the lake.

This home and land have been in our family over 40 years. Please enjoy yourself and make great memories while ensuring the place remains beautiful for years to come.

Perfect place for a vacation. Quiet lake, amazing views, spacious house, nice amenities! Swimming, fishing, kayaking, sauna, hiking, fire pit and relaxing. It was everything and more then we could have hoped for in a lake house.

This place was amazing. Check in was easy. Place was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Had fun teaching our grandkids to play pool. Loved going on the lake with kayaks and paddle boat.campfire at night is so peaceful. Lots of fun and the weather was perfect. Loved watching the wildlife. We had a great time. Very relaxing. Will definitely consider another visit.

Amazing for the second time

This property is top of the line if you are looking for peace, quiet and solitude. We had amazing weather, enjoyed the fire pit, pool table and the atv trails. The hosts are very accommodating, couldn’t have been happier! Looking forward to coming back again

A wonderful stay--again!

We've stayed here a few times now, but this is our first time during swimming season. It was wonderful! We used the swimming platform and kayaks and deck every day and had a cook-out at the fire pit. There was a lovely breeze most days, which was good because it kept the mosquitoes at bay during the day. At dusk and dawn they are fierce! This has become our go-to place up North - thanks to our gracious hosts!

A quiet stay in the woods for Birkie Week

This a very clean and quiet cabin on a small lake. The host took care of us very well. We had a snow storm while we were there and they had us plowed out before we needed to leave. There are open spaces in the cabin to spread out and do things as a group (play billiards) or by yourself (puzzle). No issues booking this one!

Wonderful Trip on Sabin Lake Cabin

We had a wonderful time. The Sabin Lake cabin has everything you could need for an enjoyable time. The host was very responsive to any of our questions. The beds are comfy. The cabin has lots of extras, we enjoyed using the firepit and sitting on the chairs on the deck to watch the lake. We saw lots of wildlife - deer, beaver, hummingbirds, and lots of other birds. The cabin is very private and quiet. We would definately come back!

Fantastic Lake View and Clean

We loved this place, it was spacious for 4 adults and 4 kids and had everything we needed. We spent our time just staying in the house playing cards and also a lot of time on the lake swimming and kayaking. The kids had a blast out on the lake. We saw a beaver, baby deer, ducks, birds of all kinds and so much more. My favorite part was waking up in the bedroom with all of the windows to the view of the lake. House was very clean and advertised exactly as it was online!! Loved our stay!

The lake house was as perfect as your profile description! The house was very roomy, cozy, clean, had lots of games and movies for rainy times. It was stocked with all the necessities. We watched loons and hummingbirds from the deck. The lake was beautiful and peaceful! Our family of six (including four teenagers) loved our stay here!! We rented bikes in Hayward and rode some trails which were great! We rented a boat at Round Lake Marina. They were wonderful and that was a great place to do some waterskiing and tubing! Coop’s Pizza and the Hayward Gourmet Popcorn Store were fantastic!

The owners spared no expense in building and equipping this cabin. It’s rare to find a VRBO rental like this one where everything is done right. Comfortable, great location, and the acreage to explore is a bonus. Unfortunately we picked the week when a nearby neighbor replaced the roof on his cabin. No quiet times sitting on the deck. The sounds of demolition, air hammers and air compressors seem to be amplified on a small lake like this one.

Perfectly Peaceful Week

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sarah's home. It's not just a house - it's a home. Everything we could think of was available for us to use. We made many delicious meals, and every piece of equipment that we may have needed was available to us. We loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the sounds of nature all around us. We literally had the lake to ourselves for floating. We didn't see other people on the lake until the fourth day of our stay. It was the perfect location between Hayward and Cable. We very much enjoyed exploring the area when we weren't relaxing in the water. Highly, highly recommend this house for your next northwoods getaway.

Our family had a great time at Serene Seeley Lakehouse! So much to do outdoors right at the house. The kids learned to kayak on the small quiet lake. There were many trips around the lake by all of us on the kayaks, rowboat and paddle boat enjoying the turtles, heron and other wildlife. There is a wonderful path through the woods and a tree swing that got lots of use. The house is well set up for family - all bedrooms are on one level and the floor plan is nice and open with lots of views of the lake. Great variety of games, toys, books and DVDs available. Loved that the water was just steps from the back porch and visible from the dining area, back porch and firepit area. Hayward is about10 minutes South with all the cute shops, activities and restaurants (we enjoyed Anglers for lunch and a stop at Trembly's candy store). Cable is also just about 10 minutes North. Kids and adults had fun at the Cable History museum and right close by the Wayside Wanderings Natural Park was a very unique and fun stop for the kids. The Silverthorne Park is less than 10 minutes from the house and has a playground & beach. The sauna on the property looks awesome - we just never got a chance to use it! Would definitely stay again.

So peaceful and relaxing

This was a much needed vacation. I work nights and this was the perfect relaxing, peaceful vacation. We relaxed, fished, and had a fire every night. House was clean and very well stocked. Beautiful property

This was the third time we stayed at this beautiful house. The house is absolutely gorgeous and we’ll maintained. It is well stocked and has everything you would need. The lake is completely private (we seem to be the only people on it when we visit) and so pretty. There is a ton of stuff to do in Hayward - shopping, wine tasting, golfing, casino and a bunch of great restaurants. We love coming here and look forward to it every year!

Wonderful week!

My family and I had an amazing time. The house was very spacious and equipped with everything needed for a getaway. Step outside onto the deck and it was like heaven. Beautiful deck overlooking the lake which we felt like we had to ourselves. As soon as our kids unloaded the car they had their fishing poles into the water and taking the boats and kayaks out. We hope to make this an annual destination.

Great spot - nice cabin and property!

All good all the way around. We thought we were going to be able to use the wood stove until we read the manual. We got over it because everything else was awesome. We enjoyed playing pool when it was 10 below out and when it warmed we enjoyed the trail on the property. The skiing in the area was as great as ever.

Winter Retreat

We loved the house and the quiet, peaceful surroundings with the lake and woods. The spacious and well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy and fun. We also liked the proximity to the Birkie Trail; look forward to returning.
