Location, location, location
After living in the Sotogrande area for 3 years we bought this villa in 2018 and fully refurbished it. The villa could not be in a better location, being 2 minutes walk to the local restaurants and 3 minutes to the best beach in the area (Playa Torreguadiaro) Sotogrande Marina is a 15 minute stroll along the promenade, or sit back and relax on our 60sqm terrace with stunning views across the bay of Playa de Cala Sardina. Or enjoy a dip in our pool or relax with a drink at the bar.

We had a fab holiday!

The location is great: it’s in a village which is a stone’s throw away from the beach and brilliant restaurants but is so quiet when you are in the villa and garden. The house is fantastic and the gardens and pool are lovely. We had great communication with both the villa manager and the owner, who were extremely helpful. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday!

The best family holiday

We loved the villa, it had everything we needed, well equipped, comfortable & homely. Spacious garden & pool area and a large table on the terrace perfect for us as a group of 7 for eating & playing games. A lovely, friendly man called Salvador came every morning to check the pool. Great communication with the owner when needed, really helpful & accommodating. So close to restaurants, shop, beach, beach bars etc. Spoilt for choice for places to eat. Several really good Spanish restaurants minutes away & a fantastic Indian too. The beach bars were great too for drinks & food. We loved the totally unspoilt Spanish feel of the village. We walked to Sotegrande Port, well worth a visit. Beautiful marina, night market & again superb places to eat. Thank you Rebecca , we’ll definitely be back!

Family holiday

The villa was everything we hoped for and even nicer than the photos. Our 2 little girl's eyes lit up when they saw there was also a trampoline! Lots of space for the extended family both indoors and out. The villa was well furnished throughout and we particularly appreciated the well equipped kitchen. Pool was lovely and well maintained every day by friendly local man. Due to the young age of the children, we didn't eat out at night but cooked at the villa and enjoyed eating on the lovely terrace under the stars! We did have a few brunches / drinks at the beach bar and the marina which was a pleasant walk from the villa.

Dejligt hus , god beliggende , rigtig godt poolområde. Super god kommunikation med ejer og kontaktperson. Ligger i gåafstand til lille hovedgade og meget tæt på Sotogrande havn. Klar anbefaling herfra.

We are a family of 4 and divide our time between the UK and Spain. We have been doing short term holiday rentals for over 10 years in UK, France and Spain. New for 2020 is our Villa in Torreguadiaro.

Why they chose this property

We moved to Spain in 2016 after falling in love with this area during a holiday. We first lived in Sotogrande Alto, but missed being able to walk to the restaurants and beaches. We found this villa in 2018 and then started the long job of renovation. We think Torreguadiaro is quite unique. There are 15+ restaurants and 2 lovely beaches just 2 minutes walk away. Sotogrande Marina is only 15 minute walk away and we get the benefits of both locations, with a sea view from our terrace.

What makes this property unique

This is a traditional villa, with a modern contemporary interior. With a large terrace leading straight from the open living space, you can bring the outdoors inside. The garden us fully enclosed and safe and secure for children. The pool is visible from the terrace and most of the house, being in the lower part of the garden also shelters it from the wind.

We are foodies and want our guests to be able to share our love of food, so we have a fully equiped kitchen in the house and a great selection of outdoor eating options too, that we believe are unique to our villa.


Finally we have a gas burner BBQ, all you need for your outside catering and no need to leave the villa, should you wish.

Add onto this our outside bar , we have all you heed to create your very own chiringuito.
