About this property

Mahakipawa Hideaway - Marlborough Sounds Home

For outstanding views of the Marlborough Sounds and beach access, you can't look past Mahakipawa Hideaway.

Perched perfectly to look out on the beautiful Mahakipawa Arm of the Malborough Sounds, you will be able to feel the stress melt away from the minute you arrive. Put your feet up and take in every inch of the million dollar view over a cup of morning coffee or a glass wine at the end of the day.

In the summer your holiday living is as easy as taking a wander down to the beach directly from the deck or firing up the BBQ. In the cooler months watch the sunset over the mountains and then snuggle up in front of the fireplace with a movie.

This 2 bedroom home is ideally located to discover the excellent fishing of the Pelorus Sounds, launch your boat from the community ramp in the bay, or from the commercial ramp at Havelock Marina, where you can also join one of the many cruises. The cafes, bars, restaurants and small-town charm of historic Havelock are only a short 10 minutes drive away. The start of the Queen Charlotte Track at Anakiwa is only 9 minutes drive, and the famous Marlborough vineyards are just 25 minutes away.

Mahakipawa Hideaway awaits!

Nice Place
The road was a little windy but the views were spectacular. Sandy was very helpful in delivering linens and helping with the WIFI. The driveway was steep but our SUV had no trouble negotiating the driveway. Purchase your groceries in Nelson or Blenheim as the 4 Square in Havelock closes early and has limited inventory. The Pelorus Sound Mail Boat was a fun excursion along with wine tastings in Blenheim. No AC but the house cools quickly at night. The hike around Cullen Point and then up to the lookout is another local outing.

Awesome short break
Quiet and private house, with a path leading down to the water. looks of different outdoor areas. Great views from living area as well as master bedroom and a great base for exploring the sounds. We do this type of holiday quite a bit and were impressed with how everything worked and was easy to use and find.
