This stunning north-facing contemporary designed waterfront home is located with the best access to the Gippsland Lakes. This home features 2 master bedrooms and 3 secondary bedrooms which comfortably sleep 10 guests and boasts a waterfront deck overlooking the canal and the magnificent Lake King with views across the mountains and beyond.

The jetty provides direct access to the Gippsland Lakes, 90-mile beach, and rivers and estuaries of the Gippsland Lakes system for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Please note that the small side of the jetty only is available for guest use.

Enjoy waterside dining whilst overlooking the Swans in the canals and Lake King beyond. Whether a boating break, family holiday, or romantic getaway this property is certain to exceed your expectations.

*No WIFI available and cell service can be limited in the house itself. Garage is not available for guest use.

Nice on the canal

Dishwasher stank - reported to GLE's. There is no lock on the upstairs shared bathroom. There is no hanging space, or space for suitcases in downstairs ensuite bedroom. There is a locked door there which might be hanging space, but no access to it. Couldn't find instructions to use oven - leave another note to say where the instructions are. It would be handy to have small occasional tables at the ends of each sofa in the lounge area. Hand towels and tissues in different rooms would be helpful. No WIFI. Corner cupboard in kitchen the top hinge is coming off.

The home was great in a great location however it is let down by the owner who clearly doesn’t want repeat customers we had read in previous reviews from a while back that the dishwasher didn’t work and it still didn’t work on our arrival not good with 10 adults and 2 babies after a few days washing dishes by hand we were happy to see the repair man who told us he couldn’t fix it the other big issue was the lack of large enough bins for a house of this size we had to get a trailer and do a run to the Bairnsdale tip $36 fee we put the bins out for Thursday collection only to be told they pick up the recycle bin fortnightly the small room hand no cooler or fan and no we’re to put clothes clearly a office room the main bathroom had a flickering light was also reported in previous reviews and no door between bedroom and bathroom WE WONT BE BACK look elsewhere before renting this house

Lovely deck & outlook. No wifi(should be like running water)& no paid-tv -expect this for this price. Single bedroom downstairs had no flywire on window -a MUST in a mozzie-infested area. Occupants had to sleep with door open for air. Toilet light upstairs went on the blink -only needed replacement globe -dangerous without it. But property-owner was too slow to react& was going to leave it.We were already putting up with stove not fully operational.The wonderful staff @GippsLakes Escapes made decision to send electrician to fix toilet light-thank you Kate & Caroline!You were awesome!No powerpoint in upstairs bathroom.Note to boatowners-dont leave your trailer on nature-strip facing wrong way-I got a $109 fine!(perhaps a warning sign at house would help) Other than that,we had a really lovely stay.Note to owner:get those things I mentioned fixed!I expect more for the price.

Perfect house for our family getaway

This house was perfect for 5 couples. Very well appointed, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. I had packed extra frying pans and other essentials but there was absolutely no need. Fantastic to have our own private jetty for our boat. No Wifi, and the cleanliness was not quite up to standard but all in all a great place which we will hope to stay at again.

The decking table & seating was ideal for a Mothers' day breakfast. We visited the restaurant, "Sardine" in Paynesville for dinner which was excellent, would recommend. We also visited Paintsville for a fun filled artistic lesson, again would recommend. Only drawbacks were no Wi-Fi and a lack of mirrors (for the ladies).

My fellow guests had nothing but complimentary comments on the beauty and size of the house, the very comfortable bedrooms with huge ensuites, spacious lounge, fully equipped kitchen and huge outdoor deck. The views from the deck are amazing, and it was very handy having a boat mooring. The lack of wi-fi and a DVD player were the only downsides. Overall, a score of 9.5 out of 10 for 'Anchored'.
