The minimalist and trendy open plan living faces the main attraction - the panoramic view of sparkling Lake Rotoiti will take your breath away!

Living and dining at Laze by the Lake is a free-flowing area with huge bi-fold doors opening out to the expansive deck overlooking the lake - a magic place for sundowners. You'll love having your very own picnic table for summer breakfasts, lunches and dinners, before heading out for hours of fun on the water.

There's plenty of room to park the boat, as well as 3 kayaks onsite (2x adult and 1x child size) to take out for a paddle across the tranquil lake. Laze by the Lake has an outdoor shower for a quick rinse off, before heading to the games room!
A true holiday highlight, the games room features a pool table, Space Invaders arcade machine, TV with SKY and plenty of board games and puzzles. This is the ultimate hangout zone for kids big and small!

Postcard Sunset by the lake

Superb setting with great facilities and superb sunsets. Can't go past this place , one of the best lakeside settings in Rotoiti, highly recommended.

Great house for families

Really enjoyed our stay. The games room was a real hit with the children and the setting is stunning. Nice large space for a big group. Communication from host was very good. Would love to come back and experience in summer!

Quiet getaway

Love the remote location and the beautiful view from inside and outside the bach. The kids had fun with the games and pool table. Heat is mostly from a wood burning stove.

Beautiful Lake House

Amazing property with an amazing view, we went for a boating weekend and this house is the perfect location. Boat ramp just down the road, ski lane right out in front of the house and hot springs so close to the house. We loved our trip and can't wait to come back.

The view is amazing. However access to the property is challenging. It’s quite rural with a long off-road access. Really difficult without a 4x4. Also no WiFi which should be carefully read through the listing.

A 4x4 is not needed, any vehicle is absolutely fine, but it is a well maintained gravel road down to our place which is one of the highlights as it is "off the beaten track" as they say! And yes we currently have no WiFi but cellular coverage is excellent.

The Ultimate Adventure Basecamp!If you’re looking for a thrill, this is the place to be. A classic Kiwi bach, it offers incredible access to Lake Rotoiti: we loved kayaking to the hot water streams and taking the short stroll to the hot waterfall pool. The house kept the kids fully entertained with a pool table, arcade games, and darts. It served as the perfect home base for our zip-lining and white-water rafting excursions. A must-stay for anyone with a spirit of adventure!

We are from Auckland and purchased the land at Rotoiti in 1999. We build our dream holiday home on it in 2007. We love going to the lake and I really enjoy been able to share our slice of paradise with others.

Why they chose this property

Lake Rotoiti has so much to offer and our holiday home is the perfect location to access the lake. The home has great views of the lake with stunning sunsets, coming in to the house. We are about 20 minutes drive to Rotorua for all the attractions on offer including the Redwood Forest

What makes this property unique

We have stunning views and a games room which is perfect for all the family - Dart board, Large screen TV, Pool table and a classic old spacies machine !!
