Dancing Bear is a cozy home located in the community of Misty Mountain, 0.3 miles from Sapphire Valley Resort. Once you enter the home, you are greeted by the living room, which features a wood-burning fireplace, TV, Blue Ray DVD Player. Off the living room is an 8-top dining table and doors that lead to an open patio. The kitchen is equipped with a Keurig & drip coffee maker. This split floor plan home offers a primary suite featuring a king bed, TV, Blu-ray DVD Player, doors leading to an open patio, 2 walk-in closets, and an en-suite bathroom featuring dual sinks, tub/shower combination with a jetted tub. The other side of the home offers 2 additional bedrooms. The right bedroom offers a queen bed, TV, and Blu-ray DVD Player. The left bedroom offers two twin beds with a TV. Both bedrooms share an adjoined bathroom with a tub/shower combination. From the living room, there is a half bathroom and, full-size washer/dryer. This home has wireless internet, a front porch with rocking chairs, and a gas grill. Books and games are also available in the home.

Misty Mountain offers access to a community pavilion that offers an outdoor fireplace, picnic tables, 4 gas grills, his/hers bathroom, and a large kitchen with fridge, microwave, and stove/oven. Great place to hang out in the evenings. .

This home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities. These amenities are not at the home. They are in a separate drivable location. You may join for $5/day or $25/week per person. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, one indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, outdoor miniature golf, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis/pickleball courts, playground, track, picnic tables, community center, organized excursions to Cherokee and the Biltmore House in Asheville, a 9 hole (par 3) golf course, Zip-Lining, High Ropes Course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities and discounts on ski lift tickets and ski equipment rentals during the winter season.

Great stay in the mountains

Our stay at this house was very quiet and relaxing. The house is down a very quiet street with only a few houses with limited vehicle traffic. It was a great location to stay.

Great Mountain getaway

We loved the cabin. It was very homey. Our four legged friends were sad to leave. Thank you for a great place to connect with family and for allowing our dogs.

Adorable cabin in great location

This property was clean and had a really great floor plan . The location was ideal. We had no instructions on how to get in and nobody returned our call with a plea for help. We located the nearest office and found a packet with the keys there. Luckily it was still during office hours.

Great cabin!

Honestly very impressed with the cleanliness of this cabin and I am very picky. The neighborhood is very pretty and quiet but still close to everything in Cashiers. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch and also using the community fireplace one evening. My only complaint and it is small is that there was no towel in the powder room and the soap was a watered down bottle of hand soap! The place is also pretty dark as another reviewer brought up. I think part of my thing is that I am not a fan of all the dark paneling bc that made it feel even darker. But minor things considering we were there to enjoy the outdoors and not sit inside all day!

overall a nice clean house. Good location. I thought it was dark inside even in the daytime. I wish there was another lamp in the living room - only one small one. Also I wished for more outdoor seating space without looking at a stone wall.
