Grand View - 5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 10

Grandview is a "true log cabin" we call a manor home, with lovely 360 degree mountain views from the huge deck, where you will find a gourmet gas grill, table and chairs for your outdoor entertainment.

You won't be crowded, to be sure with 3 Queen Bedrooms on the Main floor and 2 Queen Bedrooms on the lower level. You will love the open concept of the upscale eat-in kitchen, living and dining rooms. There are 2 plasma TV's with DVD's: 1 on the main floor and 1 downstairs. The gas fireplace is in the living room, and a regulation size pool table can be found downstairs adjoining the other TV room.

Fresh spring water piped into the mountain cabin is a real taste treat. Try a glass; you'll love it. A short distance down the mountain you will find 2 man-made Spring-fed lakes stocked with large catfish, bass and trout for your catch-and-release fishing experience. No fishing license required on private lands. Or, feed the ducks, jumbo goldfish and turtles. Or, just hike the miles of trails around the lakes, through the open fields and mountains on the 140+ acre estate. Take in the abundant flora and fauna!

Prices given are for 6 people. Kindly add $25 per person (including children over 1 yrs of age) over 6 people up to a maximum of 10 guests. If you need more accommodations, Parkland is the sister cabin on the property and is available for great reunions of family and friends.

Wish I could give zero stars

Very misleading. Wasn’t close to the pond it describes, stairs are incredibly dangerous, floors were sticky, ton of bees nests attached by the entrances, jacuzzi didn’t work, called the office first night and they said they would send someone out next day, nobody showed. We checked out 4 days later still no show. Called twice since we left and still no return call. Other than all that, it was nice being somewhere with no cell reception and focus on family time.

Pre- Thanksgiving Family Trip

This property is in dier need of a deep cleaning!!! The stairs going to the downstairs bedrooms are very dangerous from walking down to the railing upstairs around the opening! We chose this property because we had two fur babies with us! The description of the property states that it is the Grand View with another smaller cabin to rent on 140 + acre Estate! We expected privacy but there were at least 7 houses on this property, it was not as described at all!!! We had my elderly parents, my husband's mother and our kids! Not a very safe place for this group and it was filthy! We had spent a small fortune and we're very disappointed!!!

Great cabin

Cabin was beautiful. We enjoyed the on property ponds & caught some bass. The air/heat worked wonderful in the cabin. This is a place to get away and get off the grid. It was a little drive to the office to check in and I wouldn’t try to get to the cabin at night for the first time. We would definitely stay here again.
