This cute, well located 1970's Spanish style open plan, fully fenced corner batch has provided many happy family moments for the owners and they are now making it available for others to share.

Situated directly across the road from the main public access to Kapiti's best and most swimming friendly beach in the exclusive old beach area of Waikanae.

Walking distance to cafe's and restaurants (One Minute to closest), the boat club, beach launch and bus stops.

Great holiday bach

Really enjoyed staying here. Kid friendly and all the amenities we needed. Short walk to playground, 4square and cafes. Beach just across the road. Would defiinitely reccomend!

Great location

The house was comfortable, well equipped & handy to the beach. The lack of Wifi was not a problem for us. Nor was it an issue to take our own linen. However, we grappled with the poorly maintained front gates which resulted in an injured finger. Despite leaving the house clean & tidy, & as we had found it, we were surprised, 9 days later, to be charged a “cleaning” fee of 60. All in all though we enjoyed our stay.

Winter stay

We enjoyed the typical NZ bach atmosphere and the half minute walk to the beach which we spent many hours walking along during our stay - the weather was magic. The facilities were of the expected standard - kitchen clean and tidy - bathroom/shower looked to be a fairly new installation - the bed was very comfortable - bach was warm and cosy for a winter stay - and we were able to watch the delayed broadcast of the All Blacks vs England. We were led to understand from the Book-a-bach website that internet was available but this turned out to be not the case - the main living area lighting set a good ambience but was too dim for knitting and jigsaw (not an issue if you're not needing brighter lighting though a freestanding light would solve the issue) - for a summer visit the decking and outdoor table could do with a water blasting - pricewise, for providing our own linen etc and doing a basic clean through on leaving it wasn't significantly cheaper. All in all we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Lovely little villa by the sea

Great family place

Great location just opposite the beach and down the road from two playgrounds, cafes and 4-square. Easy check-in and communication and appreciated being able to organise for a cleaner to come in after rather than cleaning ourselves. Thanks!

Good place for family getaway

Nice for family getaway. Older place and a bit damp but price reflects that compared to others in the area. Great location for family close to beach and a great Thai restaurant. Would stay again.

Classic kiwi bach

Our second time staying here, this bach has been a perfect home away from when exploring the wider area. Clean and tidy with everything we could need. Right next to the beach, a couple of minutes walk to playgrounds for the kids. We will be back again ☺

Nice hidden gem, unfortunately the place was filthy and we have since been charged an emergency cleaning claiming that we did not clean on exit and that we had a dog there. Won't be going back

Nosey neighbor's

All in all a great little Bach for the price you pay, great location but if you're looking for privacy especially while outside your Bach then this is not the place as the neighbors across the road definitely put a dim on your stay by their constant peeking over their fence and through their windows. Apart from that absolutely great little bach
