Spacious lakeside family retreat, well equipped with modern amenities.
Perfect for family fun and weekend getaways with friends. Walking distance to Lake Maraetai, Mangakino Golf Course, local shops, restaurants and cafes.
Fully fenced and secure property with generous off street parking for your boat and vehicle.

The house has 3 bedrooms & 1 bathroom with separate toilet.
The studio (4th bedroom) with 2nd bathroom is available if more than 4 guests are staying.
There are heatpumps in all bedrooms and main living room for heating and cooling.

Linen and bath towels provided. Please bring your own towels for the lake.
There is a $65 cleaning fee and a $45 Linen/Towel fee (compulsory)

Mangakino is a very handy location being only 39kms to Tokoroa, 55kms to Taupo and 72kms to Rotorua.

Amazing place!

Huge house with everything we needed. Big bedrooms, comfy beds. Sound system throughout and central for our explorations. Great communication with hosts - loved it!!!!

Clean house, kept us nice and warm when the winds were howling outside. We had an issue with the council sticker not being supplied so we couldn't chuck out the rubbish, but Leanne was quick to respond to communications and resolve it. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay

This property was as we expected, clean, tidy and heaps of room for us all. As it is a quiet area, we were able to rest and relax which is what we all needed after attending the event we had come to NZ for.. Communication with Leanne was so easy and she was always contactable,and would always answer any questions/queries we had. I would definitely recommend this property for your break away from home.

Large bach for the whole family

Really relaxing place to stay - large rooms and great outdoor space. Plenty of seating for a large family like ours. Loved the option of having linens provided - this saved us so much packing and washing at the other end! Shame there is no spa anymore. But other than that loved the place.

Perfect Base for the Timber Trail

The best spot to unwind after a few days biking on the Timber Trail. Such a great living area for a group of people and sheltered outdoor area. So warm and cozy inside with heat pumps in every room, what a treat! Highly recommend.

Comfy stay after riding trails

A nice comfy home with all amenities you could think of, including comfy beds. Spa was a warm temp but not the spa temp us ladies had hoped for and TV reception is pretty dodgy, which i think I read in the listing and then forgot to download netflix movies before leaving. Would def stay again, and a great location to complete the Waikato River Trails.

The whole property is really nice open plan dining relaxing all in one! A perfect place for entertaining so much space. Bedrooms are all spacious the beds are amazing i had to look to see what kind of matress ot was and then went and brought the topper aswell it felt like i was sleeping on a cloud.. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful house with us.

Absolute bliss

Where do I start, Leanne's home has the most relaxing ambiance. Myself and my family had a wedding to attend, so we booked Leanne's property at last minute. Leanne's communication was almost instant. The house was more than big enough for us all, and has a great outdoor entertainment area! Highly recommend, and we will be back for sure

Comfortable base for seeing the area

This is a clean and comfortable house for our grown family of 7. Host was responsive for check in details. We enjoyed the stay and wish we had more time to spend in that area. It is in a neighborhood but not close to groceries so plan accordingly. Rubbish disposal procedure is not clear.
