This brand-new 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo, located on the NE corner on the fourth-floor of the historic Holman Building, brings minimalist modern glamour as well as a glimpse into the past. The building, originally a famous department store founded in 1918, was frequently visited by legendary author John Steinbeck, who purchased his writing materials and household items there. The home is named “Sweet Thursday” after one of Steinbeck’s novels about Cannery Row.
Designer décor can be found throughout this extraordinary 2,250-square-foot vacation home, which is within walking distance of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Also close by are the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®, the beautiful views of 17 Mile Drive, the natural wonders of Big Sur, and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.
A parking garage underneath the Holman building is available to guests, with an elevator to take you to the upper level.
From this North-East corner unit, you’ll see amazing views including the sunrise, Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains. The spacious living room takes full advantage of this, along with the outdoor balcony, a perfect spot to enjoy watching the sights on the bay.

In the living room, a selection of contemporary furniture invites conversation, togetherness, or relaxing by watching the 60-inch HDTV above a remote-control electric fireplace that can change colors with the touch of a button.
The open floor plan with bleached hardwood floors blends together living room, kitchen and dining room seamlessly.
Off the hallway is an office with a desk and a queen sleeper sofa as a bedroom alternative which is located near the half bath and another doorway leads to a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Bedroom #1 - A suite with picture windows looking out over the homes and historic buildings of Pacific Grove, with bay and mountains in the distance. A king-sized bed and a seating area.
The en suite bathroom has a walk-in closet, deep soaking tub, and dual sinks. A separate shower has a built-in seat and two shower heads.
Bedroom #2 has the same spectacular bay views, a queen bed, and an en suite bath with a shower.
One small assigned parking space in the building's shared, underground garage (suitable only for small vehicles as navigating the garage is tight). Additional parking is available on the street or in a nearby municipal lot on a first come, first served basis.

Please note that in 2024 there is an construction project in the lot to the rear of this building. Your ocean view will not be impeded.
