We had a great stay here when we visited the wine country. House was clean and in great shape - backyard was set up nicely for relaxation - with a nice view of the brook. Everyone was responsive and welcoming. Will stay again!

Enjoyed a wknd with 5 other girlfriends. Hot tub & pool were clean and the backyard is great for entertaining. The back deck up to the creek is the magical spot to be for morning coffee with the serene sound of water, ducks, hummingbirds, butterflies & wildlife to admire. Kitchen very well equipped with amazing appliances. Very comfortable house feels very homey.

Back yard is a private oasis! Tub, pool, great spot for eating and cooking outside, hummingbirds to watch! Very well equipped kitchen.

lovely family stay

This home was well stocked and thoughtfully provided by the hosts. The outdoor space was especially inviting, filled with plants and flowers, a good size swimming pool and hot tub. We played games on the curtained back patio each evening. We would definitely stay here again.

Kitchen extremely well stocked w/equipment and food basics. Several tables inside & out to eat. Gazebo by pool overlooks creek where we saw quail, deer, and rabbits, as well as a ton of birds. Great place. Lovely home with terrific outdoor spaces. We brought in a private chef (Chef L) and ate under the canopy at the far end of the property. So much fun. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful. Close to quaint downtown with awesome restaurants. The only downside was we did not feel comfortable using the pool as there was no railing near the entrance steps and we were afraid of falling getting in or out. Was unable to add a photo.

Best vacation ever!

This property was the perfect place for 3 couples to enjoy a week in wine country! Jim and Kathy were so easy to work with and the house had EVERYTHING we needed plus more. It was a great location to explore up to Geyserville and into lower Napa. The pool and hot tub were the perfect ending to our perfect days of wine tasting. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great location in wine country

This place is a gem. Centrally located in Sonoma Valley, it allowed us to visit a great deal of wineries in both valleys. The house is very well stocked, and has all the amenities needed for a vacation stay. The outdoor areas are incredible, pool, hot tub, patio and outdoor kitchen.

Amazing getaway

A group of friends came from the Midwest to check out wine country, and this location was an absolute dream. The back patio / pool / hot tub makes you feel secluded and surrounded by nature. Would love to come back!

We stayed in the house for the BottleRock Festival during spring.The house has very good bedrooms + bathrooms, but what we enjoyed most was the excellent outdoor area with a beautiful swimming pool and a barbecue grill.We also loved the location, a quiet street in Glen Ellen. It was also a great starting point for our bicycle tours in Sonoma and Napa.

There were 5 of us and we all just loved this short term rental! It had all the necessities and more. So cozy and conveniently located! The hot tub was so relaxing, the kitchen fully stocked, beautiful deck and view. We went on a 4 mile walk from the house that was amazing! Just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!

What an incredible stay with my wife and friends! James was super easy to connect with! The house had every amenity you could ask for! I have to say this was the easiest home we have stayed in as far as rules and processes! We will be back!

Lovely Wine Country Escape

The house is perfect for a wine country getaway. It's less than a half mile walk to town where there is a lovely cafe and a few restaurants and tasting rooms. Close driving distance to several wineries as well as Jack London State Park.We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the huge, heated pool. Tons of space and seating areas to lounge in the backyard as well. Beds were comfortable, everything was easy to find, instructions were clear, hosts were available/responsive. Would definitely stay again.

I must start off with the home owners. They are kind, caring, and are detailed. They truly have a heart for hospitality. They went above and beyond to make us feel special. The house is clean and stocked with essentials. Their backyard is gorgeous. We could spend the whole day out there; it has it all. What’s great is this gem is walking distance to restaurants and a quick drive to Jack London State Park. Anyone who books their stay here will be happy.

great wine tasting base

This was such an amazing stay! This Napa Valley stay was to be our bucket list trip and this beautiful home certainly made it happen! The house is beautiful, has just about everything you can imagine to feel like you are right at home! We were in a centralized location so never more than 45 min away from any winery we went to in Russian River Valley, Sonoma and Napa County. Jim was wonderful and helped us out with any questions we had. There was only one thing I would add to anyone reading this to wonder what they still needed to bring - two things about the coffee maker. It is wonderful, but had I known that it takes both beans and ground coffee, I would have bought the beans. So if you like fresh ground coffee, it is available; bring coffee beans! Also, with any larger group, two of us were decaffeinated but there was no extra carafe to pour decaf into. You only have the one carafe that comes with the coffeemaker. So if you will need an extra carafe you will need to bring one. Other than that, it was the lovliest of stays right down to the bathrobes to snuggle in after a night of hot tubbing! Thank you so much and if my girlfriends make it out here again, this is where we will be staying! But we will plan to add in an extra day just to enjoy the pool and hottub!

OK, I want to give this property a 5 star rating, but I just can't. The owner was AMAZING, super nice. Check in and out was easy and so easy. The back yard was to die for. If you have a group, it is so all inclusive you will die. There is a HEATED pool and a spa. A covered outdoor sitting area and table for morning/night eating or whatever you want. There are manyy propane patio heaters! Blankets. Enough lounge chairs and floats etc you could ever imagine. Here comes the but................ The inside is super dated needs to be updated. The carpet is kinda gross and needs to be taken out or updated. We used the kitchen with a chef, there was more than enough pots and pans, plate and utensils, that was good. There is ample room to park and awesome amenities. You do NOT need to buy anything, including coffee! That was awesome. The view is great as well. I actually loved it!!

Wonderful Place to Stay

Kathy and Jim are wonderful hosts. The house is welcoming, in a great neighborhood and an all around wonderful place to stay while visiting Sonoma County. The backyard is out of this world, with the pool, hot tub and beautiful scenery. Anytime we are in Sonoma we will definitely be staying there.

Adorable Home

The house is beautiful, clean with all amenities in abundance. We were a group of 6 girls that had the most amazing time relaxing in the house. We were welcomed by a fresh oranges from the gardens on the property! The hot tub was clean and available for use. We were able to contact the caretakers immediately for any questions. Highly recommend and would go again.
