Great living areas inside, delicious breakfast ingredients provided. Bathrooms are rather dated but with good showers and while one is close to the bedrooms the other is removed and through the living area - floor plan would be good. Beds comfortable. Games shed a bonus! Outside living areas were very dirty even taking into account the drought conditions leaving dust on everything
Older house but very suitable and functional for our purpose. Plenty of space inside and had everything that we required including our own individual spaces for sleeping. We would have no issues staying there again if we were to visit Clare Valley in the future.
The house was a comfortable base from which we could journey each day. We started each morning with a walk on the Reisling Trail - ideal! Coffee in the Main Street at 1871 was delicious. We would recommend Mr Micks in Clare, Bush De Vine at Pauletts Winery and Reillys at Mintaro for delightful lunches.
Everything you could want is provided. 3 queen bed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast food, BBQ (with spare gas), games room, toys for kids, laundry, effective aircon, wood heater, good internet, smart TV. The welcoming attitude and attention to detail was very much appreciated. 5 stars.
Very well presented house with nice decor & the house has a lovely relaxed feel. 3 well appointed bedrooms & enough space with multiple living areas & games room. Great location with easy access to the rail trail & short walk to town.
House has all the amenities of a five star hotel & breakfast provisions a bonus. We chose to eat out & just have a snack at home. Recommend Indii Indian restaurant & 1871 Cafe.
We will definitely be back when we visit the Clare Valley again.
Thanks Sue for the great holiday!
Very clean and comfortable, an enjoyable stay despite the high temperatures which kept us inside most of the time and made sleeping difficult even with the airconditioning.
Sue's place was clean, stylish, spacious and very well set up for a family stay with a great back yard. Everything we needed was provided for and more. Sue was a very generous and helpful host. The hospital helicopter came in to land near the house a couple of times with patients on board, with the helipad being located across from the back of the house, and although the noise was incredibly loud it was very humbling to see them up close providing this important regional emergency medical service.
Fantastic, clean house, suitable for families or groups. Very well equipped with many little extras you wouldn’t expect. Fantastic breakfast provisions and the fireplace kept us nice and warm.
We had a wonderful stay in Clare. The house was great, very clean and comfortable and had so many nice little touches like robes in each room and the generous breakfast provisions. The kitchen is great, has everything you need. The backyard is also very dog friendly. We would definitely come back again! Thank you Sue for a wonderful stay.
We stayed 2 nights in this property and had the best time. Breakfast in the fridge already was a hit with our group and the wood fire was plenty to keep us all warm. We had a little hiccup with our check in (give the wrong address) but Sue was very quick to rectify it and it caused us no issues. The property was presented and cleaned nicely. Would recommend and would stay again.
The house is within easy access to the town and the Reisling Trail. Sue was a great communicator and the property was exactly as described and full of little touches to make our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here .
We all felt at home the minute we walked into the house. Lovely touches, fully stocked fridge etc. Great games room outside. Could not have wished for more. Thanks Sue
