House needs a lot of maintenance and a bit more cleaning. Comfortable beds. Recycling bin almost overflowing couldn't put all ours in.
We had a wonderful stay at White on Wrights in Clare and would highly recommend it, especially for families visiting the Clare Valley and exploring the Riesling Trail. The location is excellent for exploring Clare and the surrounding wineries. It is very convenient for accessing the Riesling Trail and makes a great base for cycling, wine tasting, sightseeing and enjoying the beautiful Clare Valley. After a long day of exploring wineries and the trail, it was wonderful to come back to the house, open a good bottle of Clare Valley Riesling and simply relax on the couch.Sue’s property is exceptionally neat, clean and well maintained. It has an elegant yet warm and welcoming feel, and there is plenty of space for the whole family. The spacious living areas make it easy to spend quality time together while still having enough room to relax and unwind. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable and relaxing atmosphere of the house. After a busy day out, it felt more like returning to a home than simply coming back to accommodation. It was a great place to enjoy an evening meal, have a glass of wine, relax on the couch and talk about the day’s adventures. The property is also ideally suited to a Clare Valley getaway. Whether you are planning to cycle the Riesling Trail, visit wineries, enjoy local food or explore the surrounding countryside, the property provides an excellent and comfortable base.
Great place, 10/15 mins.walk to main street, shops, pubs, cafes. House is quite nice, every thing needed is there, provisions were a lovely surprise left in the fridge.
The house is within easy access to the town and the Reisling Trail. Sue was a great communicator and the property was exactly as described and full of little touches to make our stay very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend staying here .
Perfect for ourselves and our two dogs. Well appointed clean property which we appreciated and enjoyed. A stocked fridge of breakfast suplies to get us started was a wonderful addition. Our two dogs enjoyed the garden and we loved that it was safe and secure for them. Nicely situated between the Riesling Trail and Billy Goat Lookout. A very quiet area, close to all amenities.
Fantastic, clean house, suitable for families or groups. Very well equipped with many little extras you wouldn’t expect. Fantastic breakfast provisions and the fireplace kept us nice and warm.
Older house but very suitable and functional for our purpose. Plenty of space inside and had everything that we required including our own individual spaces for sleeping. We would have no issues staying there again if we were to visit Clare Valley in the future.
The house was a comfortable base from which we could journey each day. We started each morning with a walk on the Reisling Trail - ideal! Coffee in the Main Street at 1871 was delicious. We would recommend Mr Micks in Clare, Bush De Vine at Pauletts Winery and Reillys at Mintaro for delightful lunches.

Thank you for taking time to review your stay, sounds like you had a fun short break
We had a wonderful stay in Clare. The house was great, very clean and comfortable and had so many nice little touches like robes in each room and the generous breakfast provisions. The kitchen is great, has everything you need. The backyard is also very dog friendly. We would definitely come back again! Thank you Sue for a wonderful stay.
Very clean and comfortable, an enjoyable stay despite the high temperatures which kept us inside most of the time and made sleeping difficult even with the airconditioning.

Thank you Peter for staying Peter and leaving the house so clean & tidy, much appreciated :)
Guests are welcome to leave both aircon on overnight if that helps & of course each bedroom has a ceiling fan to circulate the cool air, a good nights sleep is important to enjoy your time in Clare.
I hope we can welcome you again when the weather is kinder :) cheers Sue
Everything you could want is provided. 3 queen bed bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast food, BBQ (with spare gas), games room, toys for kids, laundry, effective aircon, wood heater, good internet, smart TV. The welcoming attitude and attention to detail was very much appreciated. 5 stars.
Great living areas inside, delicious breakfast ingredients provided. Bathrooms are rather dated but with good showers and while one is close to the bedrooms the other is removed and through the living area - floor plan would be good. Beds comfortable. Games shed a bonus! Outside living areas were very dirty even taking into account the drought conditions leaving dust on everything
Sue's place was clean, stylish, spacious and very well set up for a family stay with a great back yard. Everything we needed was provided for and more. Sue was a very generous and helpful host. The hospital helicopter came in to land near the house a couple of times with patients on board, with the helipad being located across from the back of the house, and although the noise was incredibly loud it was very humbling to see them up close providing this important regional emergency medical service.
Very well presented house with nice decor & the house has a lovely relaxed feel. 3 well appointed bedrooms & enough space with multiple living areas & games room. Great location with easy access to the rail trail & short walk to town.
House has all the amenities of a five star hotel & breakfast provisions a bonus. We chose to eat out & just have a snack at home. Recommend Indii Indian restaurant & 1871 Cafe.
We will definitely be back when we visit the Clare Valley again.
Thanks Sue for the great holiday!
