This is the third spacious apartment at the A.U.R.A. complex (totally refurbished in 2021), a privately owned and managed property building, in the most convenient, quiet and beautiful Athenian neighborhood named Thission, right in the Athens historical center.

A most convenient and stylish apartment perfectly suitable for families, friends or colleagues.
As the property owner, I have been the physical host, responsible for the accommodation and welcoming of visitors since 2014 in other apartments of the same building. My effort consists of giving emphasis to detail and making guests actually feel they are being personally taken care of. These are the Elegant 5bm-5ba Apt/Acropolis View/Ideal Location, the Penthouse/Heated Pool/Acropolis View/Ideal Location and our newest creation, the Gracious Accessible 4Bd/5Ba Apartment in Ideal Location (rented as one or 2 smaller units).


A.U.R.A. (Acropolis Unique Residence Apartments) is a privately-owned apartment building which is composed of four large apartments for short term rentals including this one, the host’s reception office at the ground floor and home on the top floors (former small rentals). Unlike most of the newest constructions in Athens, for the entire building we have invested in renewable resources; solar energy, geothermal energy, recently replaced by heat pumps. Our aim is to guarantee an absolute heating and cooling effect with full autonomy, through an under-floor system (for long-term stays) and fan coils in all rooms, plus hot running water at all hours, and the heating of the swimming pool during the winter season (for guests at the A.U.R.A. Penthouse).

Visitors’ comments for the A.U.R.A. properties primarily focus on three major advantages: Quality accommodation, ideal location and a hospitable host/owner. What follows explains why.

A few words about the apartment:
The A.U.R.A. Stylish apartment is situated on the 2d floor, served by an elevator. There are 5 comfortable bedrooms and 5 bathrooms of which 4 en suite with 1 bathtub and 4 showers. All bedrooms are flexible in terms of bed configuration with king size or single beds. Additionally, three of the bedrooms fit an additional single bed, thus, excluding sofas. Therefore, the maximum capacity is 13 guests.
The kitchen area is convenient for home made preparations to enjoy a nice meal at the large dining table found at the sun bathing patio. The patio’s large windows and curtains which make up a beautiful theatrical scene, offer a beautiful view to the Acropolis at the end of a cute tree-lined pedestrian street (when trees allow) and to the neighborhood’s quiet life. The patio is particularly inviting as a relaxing lounge area with a comfy sofa and pouffes.
All areas offer separate A/C and the apartment is quite spacious, extending to 200 sq.m. offering autonomy and privacy which are so precious even among the closest group members sharing an apartment while traveling.

Other things to note:
• To further complement our guests’ comfort we have created a privately owned and secure storage facility just across our building’s entrance. No need to worry about early arrivals into Athens or late departures as it may be accessed by code.
• Parking offered in the premises, free of charge upon request and based on availability.
• Security doors and a security code for the main entrance offer peace of mind to guests who may feel insecure while traveling.
• Quiet hours prevail in Greece by law are between 14:30-17:30 and 22:00-07:30 which all citizens need to respect. By booking this property guests are confirming that they are aware of the house rules and agree to respect them.
• Guests should be informed that the initial rate is for up to 6 guests. For more than 6 guests: Automatic 50€ extra charge per guest per night. This policy was judged as being to the advantage of smaller and larger groups.
Prospective guests are requested to include the final number of guests in their inquiry.

New taxes were introduced in Greece recently, for all reservations made after 01.01.2024. As a result the total booking price is affected. More specifically;
• A 13% V.A.T. is added to the booking price.
• A Transient Occupancy Tax (0.75%) is included in the booking price for all reservations made before September 25th, 2025.
• A Climate Crisis Resilience Fee (0.50€ or 1.50€ / per night depending on the season), is required to be paid at the end of the stay. - As per January 1st, 2025 the Climate Crisis Resilience Fee is modified from 0.50€ to 2€ and from 1.50€ to 8€ and is included in the total booking price for all reservations made between December 1st, 2024 and September 25th, 2025.
