We enjoyed staying in the heart of Lenoir City. The alley can get loud with drivers speeding by. The place needs a deep clean and an odor treatment. But, the A/C works great. The bed is comfy and layout is super functional.
As the title implies I stayed for a work trip. The tiny home I stayed in was just perfect. Not too big, not too small. I got where I was looking forward to coming home to my cozy little cave after work. My only complaint is that I wish I could've stayed longer. Also, you're within walking distance of everything in downtown Lenoir City, and I highly recommend that you try the Mexican ice cream place on the corner.
This rental apartment is in a good location in downtown Lenoir City. I found this rental for my brother who is 76 years old and just got out of the hospital/rehab. Unfortunately, the heating unit went out and it was not repaired until around 16 hours later approximately. Also, my brother found three bugs in the bed and two bags in the Bathroom. When considering renting this apartment, it may be a good idea to compare to local cheaper hotels nearby. The price may be the same or even a little cheaper. Contact with the owner was good. Location was good.
The property was about what we expected from the description and price. The kitchen was small but adequate. Could use a few items - pot holders, toaster, coffee filters, whisk, ceramic dishes for microwaving, cutting board. Otherwise fine - fridge and stove are large. Plenty of pots and pans. Shower worked for us but it is tight, so not great for a large or tall person. Could have used more towels and tp, but we didn’t ask because we had our own. Neighborhood was nice and convenient. Overall good inexpensive spot to stay. Would have preferred fewer decorative items as they took up valuable space, and could have used a few hooks and shelves here and there, especially in kitchen and bath.
Such a peaceful place in a small city that had a Mayberry feel. We walked to all the boutiques and enjoyed the kindness of everyone we met. The Ugly Mug was our go to for coffee/breakfast to start our day.
We booked a couple of months ago not realizing my daughter would endure a miscarriage and I would lose my job. This trip just helped with healing and letting go of worries. Thanks for the most relaxing, restful yet packed with fun weekend!
Had great stay at this property. Very convenient for downtown LC. Close to coffee and other shopping. Listing does mention trains and they are infrequent—about every 4-8 hours—but they do run 24 hours a day. Hope to stay here again!!
We needed a place to stay - my family and I were in town for a wedding. First of all, this place met all needs! Great location. The host responded quickly!
Very nice, very clean. Comfortable bed, nice setup. Much more comfortable than a hotel room. Only complaint is that the in-room air conditioner does not quite cool the area in which the bed is located. Running the ceiling fan helped.
I found the house to be very nice & clean, nice location close to everything. Couch is a futon(we couldn’t get it to open. The step up to the bathroom is very difficult if you have bad knees or are handicapped. The bathroom is small but it works for it’s intended purpose.
The place was small, as mentioned. It was quite cozy and I really liked it. However, the bathroom and shower leave something to be desired. Both are extremely small. Especially the shower. Plus, there is no sink in the bathroom. You have to use the kitchen sink.
And the way the bed is situated makes it very difficult for 2 people to get in and out of. The person against the wall has to crawl out, making it very difficult to maneuveur.
It would have also been nice to be informed about the streaming services. What was available. We had to play with it and guess.
Checkin was easy jay answered all our questions in a timely manner one thing that I wish we knew before hand was there’s quite a step up to get into bathroom and shower was quite small but other than that was clean and perfect space for a quite stay with a partner
We are a senior couple visiting our daughter in Athens and our son in Alcoa. This was a perfect location and seemed so cozy. Through no fault of the property owner we couldn’t get the heat right due to the severe low temperatures. We didn’t get to stay as long as planned.
Centrally located to shops and historic downtown and 2 blocks from coffee café. Basically a tiny studio apt. Couch/futon great for TV viewing and best for youths vs adult sleepers. Bed was comfortable, perhaps mattress due to be flipped. Large step up to reach bathroom could be challenge for one with bad hip/knee. Location and cost makes this an excellent bargain!
This was such a great place to stay in the exact location I needed. Such a better option than staying in a hotel for me. Had all the comforts of a home away from home. Walking was accessible to downtown. I would definitely stay here again.
Check in was a breeze. The location is great for a short stroll to a charming downtown. Convenient to surrounding areas. Fishing close by. The actual property would be is ideal for a couple. It's decorated cute, picture what you wish your first apartment was like and you get the idea. We rented to be close to Friendsville. It was my spouse and teen daughter. Our only issues were there was only one set of towels. When we told the property manager they offered to bring some. There was nothing there to use to make up the couch which makes into a bed like a futon. No sheets or comforter. I had to make a trip to Walmart so my kiddo would have a comforter to sleep under. You need to remember the code because you need it each time you enter. The air/heater works great. In about 10 min on a chilly night the whole place was warm. Overall we were happy with our stay.
Jay and team were excellent hosts and the property offers everything you needed as a place to sleep/recover for whatever you have planned.
The place is clearly a converted garage or something but they did a great job for what it is. There were a few spiders in corners that I think may be more of a reflection of what the space used to be, but overall you can tell the place was cleaned beforehand (which is always relieving as a traveler).
Very responsive management team and a great location around the main part of town. If you’re looking for a cheap place to crash at night after a long day, this would be the rental for you.
I was very pleased with the cleanliness of this property. It also had everything needed for our stay. Nice quiet location and easy to find. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for up to three people comfortably. Thank You for the hospitality Jay!
House was small and well decorated. Shower and toilet area is narrow but definitely doable. It was a hot weekend! The small air conditioner had a tough time keeping the building cool and comfortable. All around good property for the price and comfortable bed. Thank for letting us stay!
