Honestly, the Boiler Room is even bigger than it looks in the pictures and is so perfectly curated! We LOVED our stay and if I ever get the opportunity to come back to Boaton, I will be staying here!

Thank you so much for the kind review, Katie! You guys were great and we look forward to having you back anytime you find yourselves back in Beantown!
Our stay at the Boiler Room was fantastic. Eddie is an extremely communicative host and was accommodating throughout our stay. The apartment itself is thoughtfully designed and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you so much for the kind review, Phil! It was a true pleasure hosting you guys! All the best!
We had a nice visit for our son’s graduation. Eddie was incredibly responsive and answered any and all questions we had. The room was very cozy but very dark, but that’s to be expected since it’s a basement. Other reviewers weren’t happy with the kitchenette - that didn’t bother us. What we had trouble with was the people above us. I’m wondering if they are told that there are people below them when they check in because it sounded like a house party for elephants was going on above us. I understand the house is old (and beautiful!) and that we were on the very bottom level, but it seriously sounded like the people above were dropping weights on the floor. They came back one time at 3:00 AM and instead of passing out or going straight to bed, they thought it would be a good idea to walk around and do things till almost 4:00 AM. Anyway, despite all of this, Eddie alone made this a positive experience. I’m not trying to be totally negative, I just want people to be aware of what they MAY experience. Things might not be so frustrating for others!
Great location, super cute and homey! Very easy to get to and super easy to travel downtown from. Highly recommend staying here, Eddie was a great host and great communicator. Made the process seamless and enjoyable, will definitely stay here again!
Me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon. It was a close walk to the train station, we liked not staying in Boston but not being too far away. This place was so cute! It was spacious for what we were wanting! It was perfect!

Thank you so much, Hannah! We truly enjoyed having you guys on your honeymoon adventure, and we wish you both the happiest of marriages! You & your family will always have a home away from home here in Boston!! ❤️
I came into town for a convention I was working at, and couldn't be happier with the Boiler Room. It was a short drive to the convention center and a lovely place to relax after my long days.
The space was very inviting and had really good amenities. A horse were very responsive to all our needs and we would definitely stay there again! Highly recommended!
My husband and I stayed at the Boiler Room for a long weekend getaway and to go to 2 concerts at the MGM Fenway. The Boiler Room is super aesthetic and cute!! The bed was comfy and the shower was nice and big! It's unfortunately more like 20-25 minutes away from Fenway not 10 as we saw under the map in the listing. There's also an extra 20 a day charge if you have more than 1 guest staying, which wasn't stated in the listing. Eddie responded quickly to all our messages and offered us suggestions on places to see and eat during our trip. The patio area in the back was absolutely beautiful and a great spot for coffee in the morning or a drink at night. We would definitely stay here again!
This property was very unique. Beautiful decor. Cozy. Parking was extremely convenient. We were very comfortable here. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!
The location was perfect for us. The Boiler Room was clean and the hosts were friendly and personable. They recommended places to go, as we have never been to Boston-and their recommendations didn’t disappoint! We will go back again some day for another vacay.
Stayed in The Boiler Room downstairs. Ceiling is a bit creaky, could use a grab bar for entering/exiting shower. Otherwise a good place to stay. Transit train is only a 10 min walk, and several restaurants nearby. We recommend Molinari's
I enjoyed staying at this property. It was cozy, well-decorated, and homey, which made me feel very comfortable. I appreciated that it was clean and well-appointed. My only two notes are that the refrigerator is not very large so it was difficult to keep my leftovers. Also, I enjoyed the location, which sage, but will note for others that it is a bit far from central Boston. The host, Eddie, was very communicative, helpful, and responsive. I would stay here again.
We loved this VRBO for our Boston trip! Traffic was very reasonable in the area. The place was fully equipped for a couple nights! Not much to offer as far as a fridge, but that’s ok. Great patio space for both coffee in the morning or drinks at night! Highly recommend :)
The boiler room was awesome! better than expected! Communication with the owner was awesome and I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Boston area.

Wonderful. Eddie (owner) was very nice and respectful and the place was clean. The walk to the train station was like maybe 6 minutes away which was wonderful for getting around Boston. The have coffee and drinks you can buy while there, no need to grab drinks.
Definitely the place we are starting when we come back.
I came to Boston for 8 days while visiting from Australia and could not have picked a better place to stay. The boiler room was full of warmth and coziness and super spacious. Thanks so much for having me, I’ll definitely be back
I cannot say enough about how great the Boiler Room is. Our stay was most excellent, and I can only concur with all previous reviews. Great Location, Great Decor, Lots of Parking....but what stands out most are the VERY gracious host. The Romo’s are fantastic people; we had excellent drinks, great conversation, and would love to visit again. We have had many VRBO stays, but this one has been the best!
We wanted to take some of the furniture home! Obviously a lot of thought went into the refurbishment, decoration and furnishing of the unit. Convenient to T and some fine dining. Super fast WiFi. Although in the city, there was some interesting wildlife; our first morning there I surprised three wild turkeys in the yard! Eddie almost seemed to read our minds when we reached out with a couple of questions. Our next stay in the Boston area we’ll definitely hope one of Eddie’s units are available.
The Boiler Room was a really special place to stay. Very clean and well decorated. The only issues for us was there really isn't a kitchen which was okay because we could make coffee in the morning and keep a few cold drinks in the small beverage refrigerator but I had thought there would be more of a kitchen. Secondly we stayed during a very cold spell in Boston. The heaters worked really well but the tile floor was icy so once we found our slippers it made a huge difference. Staying in the warmer weather would be incredible to be able to use the outdoor space. Eddie was incredibly attentive to any questions I had and we felt very safe staying there. It is really well decorated and parking is easy out front.

About the host
Hosted by Eddie Romo
Hi There!
We're Eddie and Elizabeth ! A young and fun loving couple currently living and working in the great City of Boston.
However, we're both originally from Texas. But met and got married in China just before repatriating back to the U.S. in 2016. We both absolutely love to eat, drink, host, mingle, and travel. We are always thinking, planning or dreaming of new adventures close and afar. And anywhere we travel, we usually seek the latest culinary experience, or are in search for that perfect cocktail anywhere we go.
And right behind traveling, we both absolutely love to host! We believe that hospitality is really an acquired art form for making others feel welcome, comfortable, and at home. We believe that it is the talent for spreading warmth and kindness that will be remembered always!
We both lived abroad for a great part of our lives. Elizabeth spent time in Africa and went to school in France before moving to Asia. I, on the other hand - spent time in Europe before moving to Beijing in 2000, right after graduating from college.
Our paths crossed in China in 2010, and in 2015 we tied the knot in Shanghai. Shortly thereafter, In 2016, we repatriate back to the US - and now call Boston home.
We both had great experiences traveling in Asia, and we felt compelled to return back to the Americas and try to replicate the same adventures here at home. We are now both very happy to be back in the US - and even more so when we have the opportunity to live in this great city.
We look forward to hosting you! 🫡
