We really enjoyed our stay, trail of 100 giants and the natural waterslides are close by. The smell of the air from the trees is excellent. The cabin is great
Cutest house, hostess was fantastic. Had toys for the kids, which they loved. The area was very pretty. Very quiet, kitchen was well stocked. WiFi was spotty.

Thank you Leslie for the very kind review. I’m so glad the kids enjoyed the toy box and that you enjoyed your stay. It Was a pleasure meeting you and your family and I look forward to being your host again.
Looking for somewhere to stay that there aren’t anything but locals who know the area this is the place. Would stay there again the next time we plan a trip to the Sequoia National Forest (not park)
Our hostess, D, was amazing. Very accommodating and helpful. The cabin is good for a couple but the couch was not comfortable and there is only space for 3 people to sit, so I had no where to sit, as the mom of three adult kids.
We had a great time renting the cabin. The area is very quite and beautiful. It is exactly what we were looking for- R&R away from home. The cabin had everything that we needed. Dee, the hostess, was super helpful as well! I will highly recommend renting this cabin!
Property was exactly as described in the listing. Hosts were excellent, easy walk to the bar/grille/store. Easy parking. Ideal for a weekend mountain getaway.
The cabin was really and Comfortable I loved the fireplace. The tv played both VHS and DVD. The manager is really nice and friendly communication was excellent. Loved the fact that we had a white Christmas I hope I can go back in the future.

Attributes that may be excellent for someone may not be good for another. The location is great... IF you want to disconnect from EVERYTHING. I like the peace and quiet and proximity to some hikes (even though many were closed). But, I did not like that there is barely access to internet in only a few spots around the perimeter of the cabin.
We really enjoyed our stay. Clean, quiet, cute -- off the beaten path. The cabin had everything we needed. Dee was a terrific hostess and told us about trails and things to see. There are no gas stations or grocery stores around ... so come prepared! Internet on the whole mountain was spotty when we were there. Just be sure to provide the landline number to anyone who may need to reach you, just in case. The lodge up the street had terrific burgers, etc. All-in-all, one of the best stays we've had anywhere in a long time. A peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting with an incredibly likable and thoughtful host. Hard to beat that.
Planned a girls trip. Super cute cabin, next to an awesome market with adorable clothes, food and a bar. No WiFi in cabin, so great if you want to completely unplug. It is connected to an old bed and breakfast, so know that it is not a stand alone cabin. The doors inside connect to bed and breakfast, but you can lock them from the inside. Host is very sweet and accommodating. She supplied everything we needed. Fresh flowers when we arrived. Overall great experience ! Highly recommend. Oh and Betty the dog is amazing.
This was just what we were looking for, a quiet getaway close to easy hikes. There are plenty of challenging hikes also available, there are maps and books available in the cabin. The check-in was easy and directions spot on-look for barking Betsy. Dee and Bree were available for all our questions and made sure our stay was comfortable. They suggested taking the back way (thru Kernville) and that proved good advice as there is a lot of work being done on the Porterville route. Many trails are closed due to fire on that route. Power off your devices and be sure to spend at least one evening stargazing.
Had a great stay with my family! The guest contact was very friendly and helpful with anything you needed. Recommend going on all the local hiking trails you can find. We did trail of 100 giants, a waterfall hike, and dome rock in one day!
Property was nice is attached to a bed and breakfast that it was there before , clean cozy cabin , the WiFi was terrible but I understand that high altitude nothing works , no satalite tv for the kids but plenty of movies vhs tapes lots of trails close by and creaks really desapointed because the closes River was like 1hr away but have fun overall
