About this property

The Honeymoon Suite with Private Hot Tub

A beautiful one bedroom on the lower portion over the property we like to call our Honeymoon Suite.

Like all of our villas, the 1 bedroom design includes a spacious living area with large kitchen equipped with stainless steel appliances including electric cooktop and oven, French door fridge with deep drawer freezer, as well as dishwasher for quick clean ups. The deep sink has a garbage disposal. Coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, microwave, toaster, juicer and other miscellaneous small kitchen appliances allow you to have all the conveniences of home.

A comfortable sofa and coffee table highlight the living room as well as a smart TV that can allow you to Netflix binge after a day at the beach. All televisions have access to Dish TV. The living area is rounded out with a dining room table for four to host gourmet meals or card games, visit our office for a selection of games. Through the living areas floor to ceiling windows, you will find a large balcony with stunning views of Coral Bay and the rest of the East End of St. John, as well as the British Virgin Islands and the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Outdoor living room and dining area make it possible to spend each waking hour outdoors, comfortably, on the side of the balcony is private set of steps up to the roof.

On the roof you will find a private hot tub!

Back inside the end of the living area is bedroom with a smart TV, king sized bed, closet and full bathroom with shower.

The bathroom has recessed lighting for that late-night bathroom run without waking the whole house with bright lights as well as a beautiful tile and glass shower stall. Every indoor space has central air and fans for your comfort. Additionally, each home has a washer and dryer. Outside the front door is an outdoor shower, grill for your fresh catch and chairs and cooler(cold beers not included) to make your beach trip as easy as possible.

Amazing views!!!

You have to stay at one of Calichi’s villas if you visit St John U.S. Virgin Islands! The views are absolutely breathtaking! These villas are very new/modern and have everything you would ever need. Also, the heated pool and hot tub have fantastic views as well. The property manager was very personable and fantastic to work with. It is a little longer drive to get to Cruz bay to all the restaurants, but it is definitely worth the drive to be in a much quieter part of the island. Can’t wait to visit again in the future!

Little Slice of Paradise

We celebrated our 11 year anniversary here for the last week, and I almost did not leave a review because I want to gate-keep this place to myself. However, that wouldn’t be fair to the property owners. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. With breathtaking views, a rooftop hot tub, and a luxurious villa, we could not have asked for a better stay. Tiffany was in contact with me before the trip, and immediately touched base with me when we landed to make sure we had no issues checking in. She met us at the property to show us around and was absolutely wonderful. The villa itself was extremely well maintained, modern, and we felt like celebrities the entire time. I rate this VRBO a 20/10 because it is THAT good. Nothing else will compare, and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Stunning View

This is a private and very high end property. All villas were booked when we were there but we did not see a single guest during our entire stay! The views from every area of the villa were absolutely stunning and we were incredibly comfortable during our entire stay. I would highly recommend Calichi to anyone looking for a quiet and stylish get-away spot.

The property is truly well appointed with everything you might need. We loved and will definitely return. There was a flyer for Chef Isaac Buckner of Mi Amor in our packet and we used him on our last night on the island and he was exceptional!

An Absolute Dream

We stayed at Calichi for our honeymoon and had the best week of our lives. The view of the island from the property was absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of this place was the hot tub on the roof that was perfect for watching the sunset or stargazing. Lori and the maintenance man were both so helpful during our stay and answered all of our questions. We truly felt at home while being here for a week and were sad to leave. We can’t wait to book our next stay!

Fantastic stay at Calichi!

This is an amazing property with incredible views. Well equipped kitchen was great as we prefer to cook rather than going out. There was peace and tranquility in the area and always a nice breeze as we enjoyed the view. We will definitely be back again. One of our best vacation home trips and we’ve had a bunch! Property manager was fantastic and helpful.

Calichi’s 1.67 acres is approximately 1190 feet above the Caribbean Sea, making it the highest residence on St. John. Actually, only the communications tower on Bordeaux Mountain is taller, and it’s only by some 85 feet. ResidencesOur property is made up of 6 villas, an immense central pool & hot tub area all accessed by an upper and lower driveway as well as a stairwell from each villa.
