About the host
Hosted by Bee
Hi, I’m Bee. I’m a down-to-earth type who finds joy in the little things — early walks, real conversations, and making people feel at ease. I love creating spaces where people can just be — no pressure, no fluff. I’m curious, calm, warm by nature, and always up for a laugh. If we cross paths, you’ll likely find me with coffee in hand and sand between my toes.

A Note from Bee: Why Venus Bay Feels So Special
There’s something about Venus Bay that wraps itself around you the moment you arrive — like the air here knows how to let you breathe a little deeper.
For me, Venus Bay has always been about the quiet magic in the everyday moments. It’s in the way the sand feels softer underfoot, the way the tea-trees bend with the coastal winds, and the way the surf hums in the background — steady and grounding, like a heartbeat you can sync yourself to if you listen closely enough.
It’s not a place built for busy. It’s a place built for slow mornings, barefoot walks, salty skin, and evenings that stretch out around the dinner table long after the sun has dipped behind the dunes. It's about wandering along the beach with no plan, no shoes, and no rush. About falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to the soft call of the birds.
I love that Venus Bay still feels wild in its own way — raw and real. The beaches aren't crowded, the streets are quiet, and nature is never far away. Even after all the times I've been here, I still find new corners in the dunes, new tracks through the bush, or a new sunset that stops me in my tracks.
It’s a place where the days slow down enough for you to actually notice them. Where kids still find adventure building forts in the tea-trees, where a simple walk to the shops feels like an invitation to smile at strangers, and where a passing wombat can become the highlight of your evening.
When I think about Coastal Hideaway, it's not just a house tucked behind the dunes — it’s my way of sharing a little piece of that feeling with you. A place where you can leave the world at the tea-tree tunnel and come back to yourself in the simplest, most beautiful ways.
I hope when you visit, you feel it too.

What makes this property unique
Coastal Hideaway isn’t about flashy finishes or grand designs — it’s about a feeling the moment you arrive. Hidden behind a natural tea-tree tunnel and tucked just behind the dunes, it feels private, peaceful, and deeply connected to the landscape around it.
The moment you step onto the balcony and hear the waves crashing in the distance, you know you’ve left the busy world behind. The house itself is simple, thoughtful, and easy — designed so you can slow down, settle in, and make your own kind of holiday, whether that’s barefoot beach walks, long lazy meals, games with the kids, or simply doing nothing at all.
The gardens are part of the magic too — full of little hidden rooms and quiet spots where kids can explore and grown-ups can find a moment to themselves. And if you’re lucky, you might spot Wilber the wombat wandering through at dusk, reminding you that here, life moves at a gentler pace.
Coastal Hideaway isn’t just a house — it’s a place where you can reconnect, recharge, and let time stretch out a little more kindly.
