Summer Rays - pet friendly

This lovely house is located in the Second Estate of Venus Bay. Only 10 minutes walk to the nearest beach and a little further to Fishermans Jetty on Anderson's Inlet. This property allows you to sit on the back deck and watch the sunrise and set.
This spacious house offers three bedrooms, and two bathrooms with plenty of space for the family to spread out, with two living areas. With split system heating and cooling you will be comfortable whatever the weather conditions.

All beds have doonas and pillows provided, just bring your linen. There is also a linen hire service available. Please contact us for a quote on this.
The property also features brand new appliances such as fridge, washing machine and dryer, as well as an outdoor shower for those post-beach rinse offs. The property has just been renovated to include a brand new bathroom (including walk-in shower), laundry, and 2nd water closet.

A bocce pitch is the finishing touch to this beautiful Venus Bay property.

Home away from home

Gorgeous property, with lots of space for everyone including fenced back yard with bocce court. Perfect location close to Beach 4&5 and the river. Well equipped kitchen with all we needed for our longer stay. Really enjoyed this stay😄

Much needed break

The house was lovely inside, with a great outdoor area as well. Everything was provided to live and relax in style. We were allowed to bring our pet dog, and it's near a dog beach. We enjoyed swimming close by also at Beach No 5.

Last minute long weekend getaway in April

Great location, short walk to the beach…not great for kids to swim but really beautiful. Really nice little place. Bathroom has been beautifully renovated. Bedrooms are a little tired and quilts and pillows could do with an update. Mattress in 3rd bedroom is really soft. Kitchen had everything we needed. No dryer and clothes don’t dry on the line well…need a clothes horse for inside in the cooler weather. No hairdryer and we forgot ours. Fireplace was beautiful to sit in front of at night. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Nice and tidy the house feels warm and inviting, especially when it’s cold outside.

There were some problems, the doors to bedrooms locked people in the rooms when they closed the doors. Some dishes were not washed, cleaned dishes were stacked on top of dirty dishes. Switches to ceiling fans did not work properly as it should.

Pet friendly

Fabulous house, well set up for dogs with good fencing, great kitchen facilities for staying in to cook, good location. Clean and tidy, but shower needs another once over, lovely character home, lounge room awkward furniture layout for socialising
