We had an excellent stay at this villa. It’s comfortable, clean, great location and Mary took care of all our questions and concerns pretty much immediately. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely stay here again.

AMAZING!!

Not only is the host one of the SWEETEST hosts we’ve ever had, the property was exactly what we needed. Multiple pools for the kids when they were done with the beach and a beach bar within walking distance for when the parents didn’t want to cook. The grounds were great and the location to the beach was perfect. We will definitely be back!!

Spring Break 2025

We enjoyed this house! The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space for all 6 of us to relax. We especially liked the outdoor hang space below the house and the easy walk to the beach. Mary Ruth was very prompt and helpful with communication. We would definitely stay here again.

Good week in Sandpiper Cove!

Sandpiper Cove is an excellent beach community! The golf cart included with the property was a valuable amenity. Nice swimming pools, excellent beach!

This condo was a little further from the beach then we'd hoped. Accommodations on the resort were great for teens; hot tubs, pools, golf and pickleball. The extras provided with the rental were much appreciated; beach chairs, enough toilet paper, dish soap, garbage liners for more than just your first few days.

Great Getaway in a relaxing Florida setting

Great property! Loved both upstairs outdoor porch and below covered porch. Beach and pool access are a short walk away. All the needed amenities were there with quick access to all the great restaurants both onsite and within a 1 mile. Beaches are the best in the US (my opinion). The HUT rocks!

Ac went out

Our AC went out and we had to leave our vacation 1 day early all because they kept saying they were fixing it which they were but took forever and we had small children with us that the property was to hot for us to stay and sleep there. We were not going to wait because there was no telling when it would of been fix. That ruin our vacation

Karla, I am terribly sorry that the AC went out during your stay. I was hoping the AC company could fix it, but when they said it was not repairable, I immediately asked them to replace the entire unit. They were moving as quickly as they could and unfortunately, you left in less than 30 minutes before the new unit was up and running. I hope that me refunding your stay for the inconvenience shows my most sincere apologies. Sadly, all of this situation was out of my control. I did the best I possibly could by paying premium prices to have a brand new AC unit installed on a Sunday. However, I am truly sorry this ruined your stay. I would love to have you back as the AC is brand new and working beautifully!

Villa 40

We’ve been staying at Sandpiper properties for about 25 years. We love the convenience. This condo needs a lot of work. The outlets in both bathrooms didn’t work. Had 1 light bulb out of 7 working in the upstairs bathroom. Coffee machine didn’t work. The rug in the den is filthy. The kids feet were completely black from going barefoot inside. I will definitely be back at Sandpiper but NEVER at Villa 40 again.

Disappointing

Everyday something went wrong. I felt like I spent every day contacting the host. She was very responsive and did a great job but it was super annoying to have to constantly contact them. Checkin-urine and filth all over the bedroom carpets. They are disgusting and need to be yanked. Stove burners that wouldn’t turn off. Garbage disposal broke down. Garbage under the living room furniture and in the armoire. Place is very shabby and the pictures are not showing the rundown details. All of the towels and bedding need to be replaced -goodwill store quality. The price is too high for the value.

Linda, I am terribly sorry to hear that you were disappointed. When you messaged me within minutes of checkin letting me know there was a Childs toy located under a sofa and you were unhappy with the carpeted bunk room floors, I had someone there within the hour to pick up the toy and to shampoo the carpets for you. Your response was "We love you! Thank you so much!" Three days later when you contacted me to let me know that the new garbage disposal was not working, I had someone there within 10 minutes and the problem was one of the cups your group had used and put into the sink fell down into the garbage disposal and had it clogged. Maintenance removed the cup and the garbage disposal worked just fine. I didn't hear anything other that positive feedback from you during your 5 day trip, or I would have been happy to do more to make your trip enjoyable for you and your group.

The lost art of excellent service

This property was everything we were looking for. Great community with pools close by. The beach is a short walk, if you aren’t carrying a lot. The golf cart is an option worth springing for. The house really is a great spot to unwind from a busy day. I can’t say enough about Mary Ruth. She is extremely responsive, and made sure that our stay was everything we hoped for. It is hard to find service on the level that she is providing. Thanks for making our weekend amazing, Mary Ruth!

Easy Getaway

Overall communication and check in with the property manager was great. There were a few things that came up that were easily resolved. The downstairs patio is cozy and inviting with a TV and hammock. There is a pier there you can walk and fish off which was fun too. Beach access is easy. The optional golf cart would’ve been great, but was a little expensive to add.

Mary Ruth was awesome! She was on it prompt response when I needed her. The dryer didn’t work, we tried washing all the towels but couldn’t. Other than that everything was great!

Destin Vacation

Our stay was stress free and relaxing. Great location and neighborhood. Reassuring to know your safe. Owner was very helpful and prompt with answering our questions. The house was tidy with cute decor, everything we needed was available. Attention to details were well thought out for a comfortable stay. There was only a few minor issues we ran into, but nothing that ruined our stay. Our master shower water was very hot and wasn’t able to adjust it to add cold, there was a wet area on carpet in one of guest rooms that we had to avoid. We enjoyed our first time in Destin.
