I stayed at the cabin for a solo trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was a convenient location to the parks and provided a cozy place to sleep the two nights I was there. It was clean and comfortable and everything I needed was provided. I didn't spend much time on the property during the day, but spent some time looking at stars in the clear night sky, listening to the quiet sounds of nature at the end of my day. The bathroom and shower buildings are locked, and you are in control of them as you are provided the keys. The shower had towels and other amenities. The owners were very pleasant and communicative. It was a lovely place in a beautiful part of California!
We stayed there on our way to visit Sequoia national Park. The manager was very helpful. There is also a nice little restaurant across the street. It's a very creative piece of property.

I liked this property once I figured everything out. Until then, my anticipated relaxing time away was stressful due to confusing information, misrepresentation of being minutes to the parks, and why does the title say one bathroom? Regardless, ultimately, when I finally was able to access the cabin I slept like a baby until, of course, the owner walked in on me. I understand that that was totally accidental but my cortisol level spiked once again.
Do everything possible to avoid arriving in the dark. And, if you have an aversion to cobweb, beware. They werent in the main area, but just about everywhere else and yes, I do understand that this little getaway is all about nature. Speaking of nature, I should say that on my last morning, I left my door open a bit and enjoyed a lovely, cool breeze, Ma Nature at her finest with roosters doing their thing.
The communication with host was great!
The advertising should state no bathroom or shower in room. You have to use bathroom in one building that is not flushable and stinks like an outhouse, plus it was hot when you walk in. The shower space is cute but not clean.
The main cozy cabin is nice but not clean. Sponge was dirty and rug on entry was not clean.
We ended up finding other accommodations elsewhere so we didn't have to stay more than that first night of 4 that we had paid for.
It cost us more money for our hotel expenses but we had a better trip by checking out of the Cozy Cabin after the one night.

These buildings were well kept and clean. The toilet is in a different location as is the shower. The kitchen is really only equipped for premade food - microwave, coffee maker. Needs more food prepping tools- ie. sharp knife. Grill hard to understand. No stove.
This was a great location super close to the park! The rental was clean and cozy. Everything was exactly as the listing stated. Thanks!

Not as close to Parks as advertised. Don’t like separate shower and separate bathroom facilities of which neither have a sink. Bathroom could be cleaned daily given that toilet paper is put in the waste basket.
It was a unique little cabin in the mountains. You sleep on a futon. plenty if coffee pots. The shower house and toilet are both in separate buildings. I liked it had a place to get food right across the street. Very private and quiet and the best thing is that it was close to Sequoia Park which was what we wanted.

Nice location. Less than 30 min driving to General Grant Tree. Restaurant across street, food price is reasonable. Rest room, shower and cabin are separated. Rest room has a composting toilet, smell is expected but it’s truly environment friendly. From parking to cabin is unpaved which is fine. It would be ideal if the path from shower to cabin is paved though. Cabin itself is very cozy, and accommodated considerately with a mini fridge with a freezer compartment, an window ac unit which was on when we arrived, a heater, a dvd player which was ready to play, a microwave, a stool, a first aid kit, disposable cups and plates, books, games, etc etc. Chairs and table on the deck, gas grill as well. We didn’t use the grill because of warm weather and mosquitos. We did watch The Martian movie on dvd where composts saved life on Mars…feels better using the composting toilet haha. We had a quiet night, road noise was unnoticeable. In the morning we were visited by a beautiful blue jay, a flock of wild turkey and other birds. It was a nice stay.
Beautiful cabin in a quiet area with views of nature from the patio. Be sure to read the description so you know how everything works (especially in winter, be aware that the shower and toilet are in separate buildings from the main cabin). The bed is a standard "full size" so a bit tight for two people if you're used to queen/king size. There's a great restaurant right across the street.

the cabin was cozy and super clean. The "walkway" to get to the cabin is hazardous (not an even path--concrete and uneven path) and we didn't realize that the bathroom is in a separate cabin as well as the shower. The bed in the cabin was too short for us tall folks as well. Be aware that the cabin is near the Hwy 180 entrance to the park which was closed due to preventative burning--so when we returned to the cabin after a day in the park, it took us over an hour to get back. Other than those things, if tiny cabins are your thing and you don't mind going outside to get to the toilet and shower, you'll like it. Super clean which I appreciated.
Staying at Cozy Cottage was a bit like camping with a cottage for sleeping, one for showering and a third for the toilet. It was comfortable and fun! We also enjoyed the grill and bar across the road. We would be happy to stay there again if in the area.
