OBX Sound Life! With PELOTON!!

Our Beach Home is a 7 Bed, 7.5 Bath, 3 Story home in the beautiful Wind over Waves neighborhood in Salvo, NC. Multiple Pamlico Sound Views from various decks and rooms on the back of the home is available with a constant reminder of why you’re here!! The Water!!!

Whatever you are looking for: Beach fun, Sound fun, Hatteras National Seashore fun, you can have it here.. We are Family Friendly!!!!!

We are continuing to update for the summer of 2026,
- No more Linen Fees!!! Linens are included!
- 5 renovated bathrooms!
- New Poly Wood Chairs on the front and rear decks.
- Carpets, Couches, and Couch Pillows professionally cleaned
- New Grill (Currently under repair)

Both the pool and hot tub are serviced twice a week. Our goal is to exceed your expectations, we hope you are thrilled with your experience and you come back to visit us again.

You are walking distance to the beach (5-7 minute walk, 2/10 of a mile), rec path, seafood markets,

driving 4x4 on designated beaches, campfires under the stars, fires on the beach, fishing,

Experience all the Outer Banks has to Offer:
Renting of Kayaks, surf boards, SUPs, jetskis, charter a boat, fishing equipment,
crabbing in the sound and local sports, indoor recreation. This oasis has it all and is the perfect place for your Tri Villages and Outer Banks Vacation!

We have an external video security system, one camera is on the driveway, one is under the house, and one is inside the owner's closet. These are used for everyone's safety and there are no cameras anywhere else on property.

Great House and Responsive Hosts

My family and I have been vacationing in Hatteras for years and rented many different homes. This home was one of the best. The home was nice, the location is great, the pool is a good size, there were plenty of games and puzzles for us to play on the rainy days. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful setup

House has wonderful setup: pool, hot tub, full kitchen, recreation room; you arrive here and you have everything for you. House located 5 minutes walk to Bay and 10-15 to ocean. All you need to bring your week supply and you are set for your vacation.

Comfortable property with room for a crew!

My husband and I rented this house and invited our adult children and some friends down for the week. Everything was as described. The house has everything you need to comfortably host a large adult group and the sunset on the deck each night was spectacular! We had one small issue with a pipe and the owners were very responsive. Would highly recommend!

my family on the Outer Banks

The property was totally as presented. Location was perfect for my 2 adult children, their spouses and children. My special needs grandson especially benefitted from the pool and proximity to the Sound. We rented a pontoon boat and took an excursion to the wild horses in Corolla.

A fantastic property for a family get away

We were a group of 14 with a mix of three generations, and all of us had a fabulous time at the property. There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen had everything we needed - especially two dozen of everything :), a clean swimming pool and Hot Tub attended to every few days and lots of board games. All bedrooms having their own TV and attached bath was a BIG plus for our large family. Hosts were super gracious with everything and prompt in attending to us. The location of the property is just incredible for access to both the beach and sound areas. Quiet neighborhood - again a plus to have an easy family time. Would love to come back to this same property next year !!

Peaceful Weekend

The house was as listed, everything was great. There were no surprises when we arrived and every room met our expectations. The weekend happened to be a bit rainy but it didn't stop us from enjoying the house & the things it had to offer! Plenty of games for my two 6yr old boys and 2yr old lil girl to enjoy while it rained. Pool table made for healthy competitions late at night. Further then we are used to traveling but everything you need is within minutes. Recommend this place for your next getaway!

Great location, plenty of space!

We had a wonderful visit, and the house is great. Some of the carpets are getting a bit old, but otherwise the house is nicely updated and very clean. The main living area is wonderful. The views of the bay are fantastic. The 7 minute walk to the beach (plus sand dune) is a bit far with equipment, but nobody complained when we parked near the dune. There is no parking lot, so it's not clear that you should do that. The only suggestion I have for improvement, and the only reason I would look elsewhere before re-booking next time, is the lack of beach equipment. There were no bicycles that we could find, and there are essentially no usable beach chairs or umbrellas. I do not know if this is the standard in this particular rental market, but if it is, changing that would be an easy way to distinguish this property! Having to arrange our own rental equipment was an irritation. I'm sure chairs and umbrellas get broken by renters, and that it is a frustration to maintain good equipment, but as a renter, I'd gladly eat that cost in higher rent, even if the house had to be re-stocked each season. With little kids, I'm not sure we'd have used the bicycles. But we did expect them to be there, so you may as well remove that from the amenities list. Renting equipment was not *that* big of a hassle, so while I would look around next time, it is quite likely I'd go back to this property again.

Beautiful House

This house worked perfectly for my family. 7 bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal for all of us. Very spacious, the pool was great. If I had any negative comment, it would be that the house does not provide any paper products at all. I have never rented a property that provided none.

In 2020 we decided to make the leap, and we couldn't be happier to share this property with you. We have come to love the Tri Villages of the Outer Banks and we hope you do too!!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property because, quite frankly within the price point, it was the obvious choice. It was the best taken care of property, by far, that has a view of the water. We are pretty meticulous when it comes to our vacations, and we hope you all notice the differences between our home and others you may have rented in different years in the Outer Banks.
