We had a lovely time staying at this property. The host was great with communication and answered all of our questions promptly.
The house was clean and wonderful for our family with teenagers. The pool was clean and the grass area provided space to spread out.
We walked into the main Street comfortably in a 15 min stroll.
We had a fabulous experience
Our stay was during the Australia Day "long" weekend and we had great Summer weather to enjoy the property, its pool and the daily strolls around Barwon Heads and the main strip and beachside. The backyard was a great gathering spot to enjoy the sunshine, kick and few balls and chatter. The house was clean and minimalist; we had no problems with any uninvited guests during our stay. We would happily stay there again.

Great property - pity that’s it’s mice-infested
We were initially impressed with the house - great location, great house layout, lots of room, beautiful view from the master bedroom, nice warm pool, big kitchen, beautiful lawn. However we were shocked to discover that the entire ground floor is mice-infested. We would be sitting in the front living room or rear rumpus room and all of a sudden a mouse would scurry across the room or be climbing up a fan onto the TV unit. The sofa in the front living room smells of mouse urine. We had to lay mouse traps and caught numerous mice. In the end we stopped sitting downstairs as it was freaking the kids out. It is clearly a recurring problem as the owner told us there is a mouse trap behind the fridge. Very disappointing. Would only recommend staying if you get an assurance that pest controllers have been through the house and the house is rodent-free.

Hi Paul/Deb,
We are sorry that you sighted mice during your second and final week. Unfortunately, every home is subject to the errant rodent. Given that our property borders acres of pristine land stretching to the coast, it is reasonable to expect to have the odd intruder (anyone with rural living experience will no doubt concur).
None of our guests before and after your stay, made any mention of mice, so we thank you for solving the alleged ''infestation''. If nature had served up a plague, then we were given no notice.
When I heard that a mouse was sighted, I asked Deb and she told me you only caught one.
We are currently back staying in the house and we have not seen any mice, and the tenants straight after you did not see any mice. My cleaner cleaned the house for 5 hrs thoroughly after your departure and did not see any droppings. As for my couch smelling, I steam clean it after each tenant and the house is disinfected and spotless!
Our group of 2 families (8 people) had 7 nights staying here early Jan 2021. We loved the house and it's location, the pool was a huge hit with everyone and even though we had a few chilly days we swum everyday. The house was very clean and tidy and Tamara was amazing to deal with. We will definitely try to stay here again. Thanks for making a trip that we all so looked forward to after a full on 2020 so fantastic!
