Our cottage is a quaint 3 bedroom home on a private extension of Ingersoll Dr. with private access and a little beach in Blind Sodus Bay.
This has been our family cottage for over 15 years and we are excited to share it with you! There is a window AC unit in the main living area, but no Central Air. Every room has ceiling fans and additional fans in them. If you keep the windows and doors closed the house does stay relatively cool.
Kitchen includes coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, stove, air fryer and kitchen utensils (pot and pans, etc).
A beautiful backyard overlooking the water with plenty of room for yard games and a huge fire pit for evening s’mores! (Wood is not provided).
There is a propane grill on the porch for use.
We recommend bringing a pop up tent for some shade in the back yard as there is not much coverage from the sun.
In the shed we have a Paddle Boat you're welcome to use. There is an air compressor to blow up rafts as well so you can float around in the water!
Cell phone service is spotty right at the house, if you walk up the road just a little you have service and text messages seem to work fine.
High Speed Internet is available at the house, as well as a Roku to login to your personal streaming programs.
There are two outdoor security camera's on the property, one in the front of the house and one in the back.

The house worked well for my families needs. Great to have a beach for the kiddos. Nice sunsets. Good profits to fair haven beach. The outside areas could have been more appealing

Thank you Karen and thanks for sharing your photos, love the sand castles!
We had a wonderful time at the cottage. It was clean and peaceful, and a great location while in town for a wedding at Colloca winery. We also appreciated the back patio and camp chairs for sitting by the lake.

We LOVE Colloca, and our location is perfect for weddings there!
Great location, wonderful views. Comfortable set up. As is always true, the folks in beds are more comfortable than the ones on the pull out so be thoughtful about how you will arrange your party. We should have put the 12 year olds and on it. Would definitely stay again.
Loved the setup of the place the most. Right on the water with a big fire pit! Well stocked kitchen and bathroom, comfy beds, and close to many things! Bring your water shoes but the little beach was a nice bonus! Will be returning for sure!
This rental location was perfect, the property was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting by the camp fire at night and kayaking and fishing during the day. The owner was very helpful and replied to our questions very promptly.
Perfect house close by Fairhaven Beach. We really enjoyed being right on the water and using the paddleboard. Sky was beautiful at night with all of the stars. We really enjoyed our stay wish we could’ve had more time.
This place was perfect! Sunsets, huge fire pit, nice entrance into water and perfect amount of land in back of house by water for our endless days of playing cornhole! Was so peaceful and relaxing and the weather was perfect everyday! The house was perfect size for our family of 8 and it was very cozy. We definitely will be coming back!

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the stay didn’t meet your expectations. We have addressed the cleaning concerns you mentioned during your stay with the team but we will be following up again to ensure improvements. The mention of open wiring is new to us and we will be checking into that right away to make sure the space is safe for all guests. We appreciate you sharing your experience and will use it to keep getting better.
We had a wonderful stay in this cabin which is larger than the pictures make it appear. There was PLENTY of room for our family of 5. We really enjoyed fishing, swimming and boating in the lake. The paddle boat on the property was an extra bonus that my children really enjoyed. We highly recommend this place.

We are so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay!
We visit the area once a twice a year to enjoy the amazing fishing that Lake Ontario offers. This is our first time staying at your property. We had a great time! The lakefront back yard was perfect for us to fish between the rain showers and the outdoor firepit was amazing....allowing us to relax and enjoy a couple of beers. I would definitely stay here again!

This place was great.: A lot bigger inside than the pictures look. Access to the water was right outside the house. We had a great time. Very clean. I would definitely go back

This has been our family lake house for over 15 years - the home has been in our family for well over 30 years! We love spending summer weekends here enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the private road, the amazing views and sunsets from the backyard and all the fun things Fair Haven and the surrounding towns offer.
Why they chose this property
Our location is perfect with direct water access. The road is very quiet and peaceful so it's a perfect spot to get away and relax. The house is a great size and has pretty much anything you'd need during your stay, a full kitchen, games, etc.
We are located about a mile from Colloca Winery and Turtle Cove - both are super fun places to visit with live music and fun events every weekend!
The town is a short drive away and has a few restaurants, an ice cream shop, a convivence store, gift shop and more!
