Stay in this modern farmhouse on almost an acre! Toast marshmallows with friends and family, play horseshoes, Yardzee and other outdoor activities. Modern Gas firepit on a spacious patio perfect for warm conversations. Ample space for small family gatherings; the property sleeps up to 10 people (8 is most comfortable) with 4.5 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, two pullouts, & a comfy couch. Packn'Play available for babies too! Fully equipped kitchen with cooking essentials, gas range/oven, stainless steel appliances, etc. The open concept great room can seat 16+ people--perfect for game night! Stocked with your favorite board games including a giant Chess set! There is so much to do out your front door, you won't even want to leave. But when you do venture out, this home is on the bus line to Boulder and next to miles of bike and walking paths. Welcome Inn!

Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
TRASH: Please put inside trash into outside bins. SUNDAYS: please roll trash and recycle bins to the edge of Baseline Rd any time on Sunday (for before dawn Monday morning pickup)
FOOD: The cleaning crew will empty refrigerator and freezer and will take usable food (like fruit, veggies, beverages, butter) home to their families. Put unusable food in tightly sealed trash bags.
GRILL, PATIO and SMORES: If used, please wipe down grill grates (use metal brush or rag), wash metal marshmallows skewers and arrange patio tables and chairs for the next guests.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
1.If Grill is used, rinse grates, brush and drip pan in hot water and run through the dishwasher at checkout.

The house was very clean and comfortable for our intergenerational group. The grandparents stayed in the main floor bedroom. Their daughter and son-in law and 2 children (10 and 13 years old) stayed in the upstairs bedrooms. It was a great location to go to many attractions: Rocky Mountain National Park, Garden of the Gods, Lost Gulch, El Dorado Csnyon State Park, and even went to Casa Bonita in Denver. The hosts were very accomodating of our needs. We highly recommend this home.

Great housing with 4 beds/bathrooms for 8 adults

Our favorite part was the deck. And watching the neighborhood bats come out at dusk. There is also a nice park/trail within walking distance.

The location of the property is great! We felt like we had no neighbors and we were close to everything we needed to be close to. The amount of bathroom space is also unbeatable! Nice home with all the amenities you could ask for or need. Host was super helpful when we needed an extra pillow case. Overall, great home, stay and host. Would love to stay here next year on our trip but cant since we're bringing our 2 doggies. Everyone is disappointed (except the dogs maybe ).

I studied abroad in Spain during my time at The University of Colorado Boulder which sparked my love of travel. I have lived in Colorado for over 30 years. My Children were born and raised here and now my grandchildren call Colorado home. I hope you enjoy Colorado as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

If you want to experience all that Colorado has to offer this home is on nearly an acre with views of the Rocky Mountains. So many activities are available literally out your front door.
*Please note: train track is adjacent to the property but we are in a designated quiet zone. Which means the trains are not permitted to blow their air horns. You can hear the train rumble, but that’s usually, all you will hear.

Unobstructed mountain views. Sits along the bike trail. Close to Louisville, Lafayette, Boulder, Denver, University of Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park (about an hours drive) . Many many great restaurants close by.
