This older style modest unit is located one block back from the Kings Beach Headland Esplanade and just a 5-minute walk to the patrolled beach.
The position of this unit allows for peace and quiet yet is still close by to the centre of Kings Beach and only a short walk to Shelly Beach. The unit offers a good ocean view from your balcony including the Shipping lane, and will sleep up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms with a Queen and Bunk bed (single on top, double on bottom).
Enjoy the cooling ocean breezes from your balcony or take a leisurely stroll down to the waterfront where you will find a great selection of cafes and restaurants. Kooringal is a good choice for those seeking an affordable holiday by the water however please do keep in mind that this is an older style unit with older style furnishings.

Key Collection: Please note that after-hours key collection is now handled via a lock box located at the arcade side access to our office. If you are arriving outside of office hours or on a Sunday, you will receive a lock box code on the day of your arrival. For Sunday arrivals, the code will be sent on Saturday.
Linen Bookings newly created after the 26th of September 2025 will now supply linen, however guests will still need to make the beds. If booked prior to the 26th of September 2025 guests will need to supply their own linen or hire for an additional fee. You will need to bring your sheets and pillow cases, towels, hand-towels, bath mats, face washers and tea towels. Alternately if you would like to hire the linen, we can arrange this for you for an additional fee

An older style apartment but fantastic location and price for what suited us. The apartment had everything you needed. Comfortable beds, comfortable lounge area and lovely shower. Clean and tidy. Very homely. Easy walk to the beach, shops, tavern etc. we an a very enjoyable, relaxing stay. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when necessary.

Parking was very limited and at times had to walk a fair bit. Only had parking on-site for small vehicles. Accommodation a little tired but clean. Close to Kings Beach Tavern. All in all, adequate for the time we needed to spend in Caloundra.
We didn’t have a huge amount of money and got this little bargain!
Thinking to myself this will be a scabby place. Not at all! It had everything we needed and was so pleasant. Beds were great, location great and we had a great holiday.

Everything was great, except for some old and slightly damaged pots and pans, and the distance from the grocery store. Otherwise, it's a really lovely and cozy place.

A good value unit although surprisingly stuffy even with all the windows open and fans on! Shabby furniture but the unit is clean and all basic facilities are supplied. Very comfortable bed. The allocated parking space is very tight so street parking is the better option. It would benefit from having a new sofa.
We had a great stay. An older unit but nicely presented. Only disappointment was some mould in cupboards, and leak in bathroom causes wet floor. We're happy to recommend it.
The property is located within walking distance of everything we needed close to the shops, beach and rock pools for the kids to explore at low tide. A great budget family holiday, the unit was clean and functional with plenty of space for our family of 5. We hopefully will stay there again in the near future.

The property was infested with ants, there is no wi-fi.
Appliances, joinery and furniture worn out, oven had not been cleaned . In a great location , just needs a major revamp.

That is really strange about the ants! I haven't heard that before with this property. Regardless though I am awfully sorry, if we had known we would have investigated further and rectified the issue for you! - you don't need to put up with that. The unit is an old and we do try to ensure that this is reflected in the photographs, listing description & pricing, however, we are going to inspect the property today to see what needs needing. We'll also be passing this feedback onto the owners.

We were on a budget getaway weekend and this was a really good choice, cleanliness of the property was 10/10 and pretty close to beaches and shops.
Though we understood the property was of older style I would recommend to the owners to put ceiling fans in all rooms. It was really uncomfortable at night time even though we had the property’s pedestal fans plus our own.
Overall we had a great experience and the neighbours and street were very quiet.

Kooringal January 2021 holiday
Neat & tidy except for the main bed's underlay which had hair & dirt so was removed & stored whilst I used my own linen as planned. Mattress had older stains to though comfortable to sleep on. Teenager who came last minute hit her head on lower bunk - these beds are better suited to younger children. Undercover parking was unable to be used due by my larger vehicle so had to park on the street. Only suitable for a very small car, this applies to all of the units car parks though mine was allocated where the ceiling was at it's lowest point & had a wardrobe & other gear in the parking space but ok for a tinier car to fit into, very tight spaces. Listing states DVD player available for use however no cable was supplied to hook it up to TV. Place is surrounded by other buildings so no privacy if curtains/blinds opened. Good soundproofing in ceiling, noise rarely an issue & nice neighbours. Was neat & lovely view of beach from patio - this unit was on the ground floor. No lift or elevator & stairs to all units so may not suit older people or anyone with injuries or physical disabilities for accessibility. Nice place for a budget holiday, very basic, quite low showerhead & no hairdryer but all basic kitchen appliances & utensils, washing machine & dryer supplied. A great location with Kings Beach, Tavern, Restaurants & a park all within walking distance. Overall a neat little place for a nice holiday on a budget.
